Est 1:21 "This advice pleased the king and the princes, and the king did as Memucan

proposed."

王和众首领都以米母干的话为美，王就照这话去行。

Est 1:22 "He sent letters to all the royal provinces, to every province in its own script and to

every people in its own language, that every man be master in his own household and speak

according to the language of his people."

发诏书，用各省的文字，各族的方言，通知各省，使为丈夫的在家中作主，各说本地的方言。

Est 1:16 "Then Memucan said in the presence of the king and the officials, "Not only against the king has Queen Vashti done wrong, but also against all the officials and all the peoples who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus."

米母干在王和众首领面前回答说：“王后瓦实提这事不但得罪王， 并且有害于王各省的臣民。

Est 1:17 "For the queen's behavior will be made known to all women, causing them to look at their husbands with contempt, since they will say, 'King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought before him, and she did not come.'"

因为王后这事必传到众妇人的耳中，说，亚哈随鲁王吩咐王后瓦实提到王面前，她却不来。她们就藐视自己的丈夫。

Est 1:18 "This very day the noble women of Persia and Media who have heard of the queen's behavior will say the same to all the king's officials, and there will be contempt and wrath in plenty."

今日波斯和玛代的众夫人听见王后这事，必向王的大臣照样行，从此必大开藐视和忿怒之端。

Est 1:19 "If it please the king, let a royal order go out from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes so that it may not be repealed, that Vashti is never again to come before King Ahasuerus. And let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she."

王若以为美，就降旨写在波斯和玛代人的例中，永不更改，不准瓦实提再到王面前，将她王后的位分赐给比她还好的人。

Est 1:20 "So when the decree made by the king is proclaimed throughout all his kingdom, for it is vast, all women will give honor to their husbands, high and low alike."

所降的旨意传遍通国(国度本来广大)，所有的妇人，无论丈夫贵贱都必尊敬他。”

Est 1:13 "Then the king said to the wise men who knew the times (for this was the king's procedure toward all who were versed in law and judgment,"-

Est 1:14 "the men next to him being Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, who saw the king's face, and sat first in the kingdom):"

Est 1:15 "According to the law, what is to be done to Queen Vashti, because she has not performed the command of King Ahasuerus delivered by the eunuchs?"

Est 1:10 "On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha and Abagtha, Zethar and Carkas, the seven eunuchs who served in the presence of King Ahasuerus,"

第七日，亚哈随鲁王饮酒心中快乐，就吩咐在他面前侍立的七个太监：米户幔、比斯他、哈波拿、比革他、亚拔他、西达、甲迦，

Est 1:11 "to bring Queen Vashti before the king with her royal crown, in order to show the peoples and the princes her beauty, for she was lovely to look at."

请王后瓦实提头戴王后的冠冕到王面前，使各等臣民看她的美貌，因为她容貌甚美。

Est 1:12 "But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king's command delivered by the eunuchs. At this the king became enraged, and his anger burned within him."

王后瓦实提却不肯遵太监所传的王命而来，所以王甚发怒，心如火烧。

Est 1:5 "And when these days were completed, the king gave for all the people present in Susa, the citadel, both great and small, a feast lasting for seven days in the court of the garden of the king's palace."

这日子满了，又为所有住书珊城的大小人民，在御园的院子里设摆筵席七日。

Est 1:6 "There were white cotton curtains and violet hangings fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rods and marble pillars, and also couches of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and precious stones."

有白色、绿色、蓝色的帐子，用细麻绳、紫色绳，从银环内系在白玉石柱上。有金银的床榻，摆在红白黄黑玉石铺的石地上。

Est 1:7 "Drinks were served in golden vessels, vessels of different kinds, and the royal wine was lavished according to the bounty of the king."

用金器皿赐酒，器皿各有不同，御酒甚多，足显王的厚意。

Est 1:8 "And drinking was according to this edict: "There is no compulsion." For the king had given orders to all the staff of his palace to do as each man desired."

喝酒有例，不准勉强人，因王吩咐宫里的一切臣宰，让人各随己意。

Est 1:9 Queen Vashti also gave a feast for the women in the palace that belonged to King Ahasuerus.

王后瓦实提在亚哈随鲁王的宫内，也为妇女设摆筵席。

Est 1:1 Now in the days of Ahasuerus, the Ahasuerus who reigned from India to Ethiopia over 127 provinces,

Est 1:2 in those days when King Ahasuerus sat on his royal throne in Susa, the capital,

亚哈随鲁王在书珊城的宫登基。

Est 1:3 in the third year of his reign he gave a feast for all his officials and servants. The army of Persia and Media and the nobles and governors of the provinces were before him,

在位第三年，为他一切首领臣仆设摆筵席，有波斯和玛代的权贵，就是各省的贵胄与首领，在他面前。

Est 1:4 while he showed the riches of his royal glory and the splendor and pomp of his greatness for many days, 180 days.

他把他荣耀之国的丰富，和他美好威严的尊贵，给他们看了许多日，就是一百八十日。

Neh 13:28 "And one of the sons of Jehoiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was the son-in-law of Sanballat the Horonite. Therefore I chased him from me."

大祭司以利亚实的孙子耶何耶大的一个儿子，是和伦人参巴拉的女婿，我就从我这里把他赶出去。

Neh 13:29 "Remember them, O my God, because they have desecrated the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites."

“我的​神啊！求你记念他们的罪，因为他们玷污了祭司的职任，违背你与祭司利未人所立的约。”

Neh 13:30 "Thus I cleansed them from everything foreign, and I established the duties of the priests and Levites, each in his work;"

Neh 13:24 "And half of their children spoke the language of Ashdod, and they could not speak

the language of Judah, but only the language of each people."

Neh 13:25 "And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out

their hair. And I made them take oath in the name of God, saying, "You shall not give your

daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves."

我就斥责他们，咒诅他们，打了他们几个人，拔下他们的头发，叫他们指着 神起誓，必不将自

己的女儿嫁给外邦人的儿子，也不为自己和儿子娶他们的女儿。

Neh 13:26 "Did not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? Among the many

nations there was no king like him, and he was beloved by his God, and God made him king

over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin."

我又说：“以色列王所罗门不是在这样的事上犯罪吗？在多国中并没有一王象他，且蒙他 神

所爱， 神立他作以色列全国的王。然而连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。

Neh 13:27 "Shall we then listen to you and do all this great evil and act treacherously against

our God by marrying foreign women?"

如此，我岂听你们行这大恶，娶外邦女子干犯我们的 神呢？”

Neh 13:19 "As soon as it began to grow dark at the gates of Jerusalem before the Sabbath, I commanded that the doors should be shut and gave orders that they should not be opened until after the Sabbath. And I stationed some of my servants at the gates, that no load might be brought in on the Sabbath day."

在安息日的前一日，耶路撒冷城门有黑影的时候，我就吩咐人将门关锁，不过安息日不准开放。我又派我几个仆人管理城门，免得有人在安息日担什么担子进城。

Neh 13:20 Then the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares lodged outside Jerusalem once or twice.

于是商人和贩卖各样货物的，一两次住宿在耶路撒冷城外。

Neh 13:21 "But I warned them and said to them, "Why do you lodge outside the wall? If you do so again, I will lay hands on you." From that time on they did not come on the Sabbath."

我就警戒他们说：“你们为何在城外住宿呢？若再这样，我必下手拿办你们。”从此以后，他们在安息日不再来了。

Neh 13:22 "Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love."

我吩咐利未人洁净自己，来守城门，使安息日为圣。”我的​神啊！求你因这事记念我，照你的大慈爱怜恤我。”

Neh 13:15 "In those days I saw in Judah people treading winepresses on the Sabbath, and bringing in heaps of grain and loading them on donkeys, and also wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of loads, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. And I warned them on the day when they sold food."

那些日子我在犹大见有人在安息日醡酒(原文作“踹酒醡”)，搬运禾捆，驮在驴上；又把酒、葡萄、无花果，和各样的担子，在安息日担入耶路撒冷。我就在他们卖食物的那日，警戒他们。

Neh 13:16 "Tyrians also, who lived in the city, brought in fish and all kinds of goods and sold them on the Sabbath to the people of Judah, in Jerusalem itself!"

又有推罗人住在耶路撒冷；他们把鱼和各样货物运进来，在安息日卖给犹大人。

Neh 13:17 "Then I confronted the nobles of Judah and said to them, "What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?"

我就斥责犹大的贵胄说：“你们怎么行这恶事，犯了安息日呢？

Neh 13:18 "Did not your fathers act in this way, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Now you are bringing more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath."

从前你们列祖，岂不是这样行，以致我们 神使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们还犯安息日，使忿怒越发临到以色列！”
