I am participating in a 30 day challenge to organize my whole house. This week my assignment is ‘bathrooms.’

My bathrooms are the least of my worries! They look pretty good and as long as I clean them every week, they stay pretty straightened up. As a nearly empty-nester, I don’t have too many problems with messy bathrooms.

What I really need to put time into is my Family Room and my new Creating Space that I am claiming since my youngest daughter moved out. Now those need attention right now!

Or do they?

The challenge is that in 30 days my whole house will be organized. So is it absolutely true that my Family Room and my Creating Space are the most important and critical right now?

The truth is that I have contracted with a mentor to tell me what to do over the next 30 days with regard to my house messes. If I am not willing to listen and obey, I might as well just release her from my employ.

The same holds true when God gives us instruction. 

The fact is that to look in my bathrooms, it looks organized. But there are some minor details (behind closed doors) that can use some help.

In our lives as well, we think the biggest, most major disaster area is the focus. that is what logic would tell us. God only knows where the real problem stems from and what Inspired Action will release us from our self-imposed struggle.

So I get to exercise patience.

I get to follow orders, to the letter, and peacefully and calmly allows it all to unfold in the proper time.

When we give it all to God, our minds are free to focus on Him, asking and receiving, instead of focusing on our pain. 

My part…that is all that is required of me. Christ’s Atonement makes up the difference for all that I was never meant to accomplish.

If we can be perfectly obedient, we can not only lift and serve ourselves, but God can guide us in a way that we can lift and serve others. And vice versa, when we are following God’s Inspired Shortcuts, we cross others’ paths in the perfect way that they feel our support and we feel theirs. We become resources for each other. In this way – struggle is non-existent. We are mutually edified. I am a resource for them and they are a resource for me. 

Only in giving it all to God can we be in peace, gratitude and love, regardless of our circumstances.

Today, I Give Myself Permission to Relinquish Control

• I have time to follow my inspired shortcuts
• I have plenty of resources to follow the next step God has given me
• I feel happy, relieved to know that only this one thing is required
• I am willing to do whatever is required
• I am receiving and accepting God’s guidance
• I am living in obedience
• I am loving and living my dream life
• I am exactly obedient 
• I am in integrity with my highest self and God
• I am joyful and inspired
• I am one of the few who receives and acts on the inspiration to move beyond what

The Bible tells of prophets and even Jesus Christ going to a high place to commune with God.  In actuality, the mountain in Hebrew has a synonymous meaning of the temple, a holy place.

I love going to nature to commune with God, and where I live, the mountains are easily accessible.  I have a favorite hiking spot that has become very familiar to me. I can hike comfortably and really enjoy the details of the trees and the nuances of weather, depending on the time of year.

I am currently preparing for a Quantum Leap, and I have discovered that as I am expecting miracles, I am noticing small details about myself that I have never paid much attention to before.  Of course, blind spots are being uncovered in the form of limiting beliefs, and something new…I am finding gifts that I wasn’t aware of.  

One gift that has always been mine, but I never considered it a unique genius quality, is the ability to inspire mutual edification.  Wherever I am, whatever group I am part of, I am uplifted and empowered at the same time that others are uplifting me. We rise together!

I never considered that part of my genius before, but I see now that others do not naturally create that kind of experience in the way I do.

Unmasking ourselves provides new consideration of our worth and value.

Even just the acknowledgement of myself in this way has taken me to a higher place. Just simply asking the question, “what is my genius?” opened the way to learning more about myself.

Phil, on our call, told of a mountain bike ride that opened a new view to him.  He was able to see the mountain as only someone who goes INTO the mountain can see it – with more detail and intricacy.  It challenged his skill in the more rugged parts.  He noticed that on the descent, he could coast, but needed to be more cautious to not crash. I suggested the caution on the ease after the ascent could be compared to humility and remembering the source of your success.

Judgement and doubt only exist in the valley.  When we go to a high place, it takes movement, effort, commitment and focus on the summit. WE learn the truth of what it takes to succeed!  Every step is a celebration that we are one step closer to our goal.  Every step gives evidence that we are succeeding!

Something about the holiday season brings out the spirit of giving in a way that I don’t feel it any other time of the year. I completely forget myself and put myself in others’ shoes to know what would be the perfect gift that would bring joy and fulfillment to them.

In the past, I would even spend more money than I feel is practical at other times of the year, for the joy of seeing an expression on someone’s face.

During our Daily Gratitude Call today, I had the impression that although this has always been a favorite part of the holidays for me, I may have some lessons available to me in this area regarding debt and deserving (my own deserving compared to the deserving of others) that have been hidden to me before.

I am so grateful for the time we have each morning to investigate and find higher truth.

The month of November is chock full of abundance. We gather abundantly, feast abundantly, love abundantly and express gratitude abundantly.

There are gatherings of our own making, and so many opportunities for us to add to someone else’s gathering. Even contributing a few dollars to a worthy cause brings us together in seasonal abundance. All contributing can make a bigger impact than what one can do.

Family gatherings happen often. They can be a fun and joyful celebration or, if there are past issues that have not been resolved, they can be uncomfortable and depressing. Forgiveness and repentance take away the cloudiness and clear the way for love to abound.

Traditions are huge at this time of year. They are the things we look forward to most. Traditions do sometimes create expectations of ourselves and others, they infer rules that cannot be bent or broken. In our attempt to control the outcome, we shut the door on any other way it could be.

Each of us is a unique individual who is constantly growing and changing. Why then, would we expect our seasonal abundance to look the same year after year.

Today, I Give Myself Permission to See New Abundance

• I recognize perfect
• I know precisely what is perfect for me
• I am present in this moment
• I see every moment as new
• I am excited for what this season will give me
• I am precious

It took me a moment to come to a decision on what we would be focusing on today. The fact is that there are multiple layers to the skill of creation.

In the beginning, it is like child’s play: making mud pies and calling them cookies. Then we learn we can make cookies by following directions in a recipe. And when we get really good, we can break the rules and make cookies by intuition.

It is easy to do things when there is a safety net or when others have proven it over and over. It’s nerve-wracking to be in a place where no one has proven the outcome.

My huge light bulb moment today was when I realized that the “breaking the rules” level is back to child’s play! Kids create with reckless abandon. They have no concept of resources, cost, safety or scarcity.

That is what it is like when we have gained so much evidence and followed the rules so many times that our confidence level is through the roof! It’s back to child’s play, abandoning the safety and boundary of rules.

I personally have been coloring outside the lines for a while now. I have practiced and followed the rules and now I am making and testing my own rules. Some of what I have created looks like a mud pie. Some of what I have created is a fabulous cookie like no one else has ever tasted.

One of my favorite thoughts, as I listened to Coleen share on today’s call is that God gave us the tools and the freedom to create, and a relatively safe place to experiment and become confident in creating.

A mirror image is the same, yet opposite.

Being created in the image of God means we are all the same: we a have seeds of godhood within us. We have the ability to create, to love without condition, to even move mountains if the occasion calls for it.

It also means we are all different: your physical appearance is different than any other person who will ever live on earth, your individual divine intelligence or conscience is unique to you, the diversity of experiences and tastes assure that no two lives will ever be the same.

We see within others, those qualities we resonate with in ourselves. By the same token, we see within God, the qualities that we are able to embrace within ourselves. And likewise, God sees within us, what He sees within Himself. This one concept helps me to comprehend with my human brain, how God can love everyone and see their greatness, even when they are not displaying it.

We receive God’s light, love and energy and reflect it to others. What a feeling of warmth when we are the recipients of that reflection.

Thanks to Phil, on our call this morning, who reminded us that God is perfect in every way. His form is perfect. In His image, our own body and for must be perfect as well.

As we look at ourselves and others in the physical skin that covers our divine and limitless spirits, the idea that we are all patterned after a perfect God gives new perspective.

Perhaps most inspiring of all is to know, as Felicia on our call put it, that were were created to think and choose. We have the infinite capacity for growth and change. We are creators!

And Mary who said that once we know that we were created to be creators, we also know that He expects us to be our best.

He has given us the power to create, to step into the realm where only gods reside. Regardless of circumstance, past or present trauma, our belief about Him or ourselves, He expects us to wield that power with wisdom and truth.

Today, I Give Myself Permission to Wield My Creative Power

• I am a creator
• I am welcome in the realm of possibilities
• I step into my creative power with confidence
• I am grateful that all things are available to me for my creations
• I am a successful creator
• I am created in God’s image
• I am god within
• I am in God’s image, as my creations are in my image

A couple of days ago, I uncovered what felt like a generational curse in my spiritual DNA. I don’t know for certain if ancestral ties of this sort that create havoc in our lives without our knowing on a conscious level the source (because we were not living on earth when they were formed) are forced upon us due to some unrepentant act, or if we brought the knowledge with us to Earth and it is part of our contract agreement with that person to help him/her to break it.

Either way, I have compassion for the original sinner. I took it to God and asked Him to release the curse from me and give it back to the person who it belongs to, with full consciousness of how to break it…for him, not for me. I asked to be granted the right to be responsible to work out my own salvation, with Christ as my advocate.

The feeling that simultaneously washed over me was a physical whoosh as with a strong wing, and a feeling of vertigo, and at the same time a sense of relief and freedom from something I had not before known how to release myself, and a feeling of duty and responsibility to perfect this area of my life.

I no longer could claim immunity because I didn’t cause it to start with. In asking that I be released, I took upon myself the weight of doing it!

I don’t have much experience in this area. I know there are experts who work with generational healing and I know it is a real thing. I have just not really experienced it to this magnitude in the past.

A few of those who regularly participate in the Daily Gratitude Call, have had moments of crisis over the past few months where family has shown up in support. Trauma and crisis tend to be the catalyst for connection, setting aside differences to receive spiritual, emotional or physical healing.

The overarching questions are: Where is my place? What is my part?

In the grand eternal scheme, we are all family. We are tied together energetically and spiritually, even if not physically. We all have one Father that we can turn to in prayer and one Savior we can turn to for healing and wholeness. In that respect, we can all be successful in our part. We all have a piece of divinity in us. And whatever we lack is a gift we only need ask for.

When I come upstairs after waking up each morning, the first thing I do is to turn up the heat to warm up the house. Then I do a little yoga to warm up my muscles and joints. The next step to my Daily GPS is to warm up to my Vision Board by generating some intense emotion to increase the vibration of the atoms and molecules to transform my vision into the physical reality I want to create. And finally, I sit down in the warmth of God’s embrace as I go to my daily scripture and connect through prayer.

I remember going to kindergarten and looking around at the other kids I would be spending the next 9 months with, the foreign symbols that were the alphabet above the blackboard and feeling a little overwhelmed at all the newness that surrounded me.

Every time we step into a new space, it takes a while to warm up to the unfamiliar surroundings.

When I was playing basketball and volleyball in High School, we did warm-ups (stretches and slow exercises to help our muscles lengthen and strengthen slowly to avoid injury). Just as vital, before we hit the showers, was to do something we called ‘warm-down’, to return the heart rate, breathing and muscle tension to normal rates.

It is just as important to celebrate and rest after a big push towards a goal, as it is to prepare for action. In fact, once I set a timer for 30 minutes and just did nothing! It was hard at first, but eventually I began to notice things I had never taken time for in the past. In the end, when the timer went off, I felt like I had been on vacation! I seriously felt as rested as if I had been away from my home and office for 2 weeks.

I fervently believe that my part is critical to the survival and evolution of humankind.

Every one of us has a unique calling, mission and purpose. We each have the responsibility to each other to discover and fulfill what we came here for.

Without God’s part to guide me and Christ’s part to make the difference when my humanness falls short, I am nothing. I can never achieve perfection without them.

My Daily GPS this morning opened up a new understanding of my role as a mentor. I have always struggled to be able to tell people what I do or how I help people.

Now I know why…

I am on my own daily quest for relentless integrity. And I invite others to join me. I do not profess to fix people or change them. I only am practicing changing and re-aligning myself and I welcome others to come on this quest for perfection with me.

I am just me, and I invite others to join me.

Kathy, on our call shared a memory of seeking and receiving a supporting part in a play. Then she questioned if possibly she had adopted the same quest in life…to be the supporting role in her own life stage.

We all work together to create a greater whole. Support roles are vital to our own and to others’ creations. But if we are too afraid to step up and seek the leading role in our own lives, we will always feel like we are standing in the shadows.

Daniel, one of our live call participants today, mentioned being part of a fellowship. A mastermind that brings unity, meaning, accountability to our existence. Consider running a footrace alone, or with a competitor. Our performance improves when we have a running partner to inspire us to greatness.

Fear has its place as we figure out our part. Fear tells us we are in unexplored territory, but as Phil, on the call stated, fear need not prevail in our decisions and motives to take action.

Even if I don’t understand why I’m receiving an inspired thought or what the outcome will be, I can trust that it’s right and move forward with confidence and courage.

his morning as I was working through my Daily GPS, my alarm went off reminding me to get on the Gratitude Call. I was a little frantic in that moment, thinking to myself, “I’m not done!”

Almost immediately, there was a peace that washed over me, letting me know that the Gratitude Call was going to give me the part that was unfinished.

I am so grateful for the conscious individuals who have been attending our Gratitude Call live every day. The perfect participants were there to help guide me in discovering my Inspired Shortcut.

I mentioned the parable of the talents in Matthew on the call today. Felicia, one of our live callers, had the presence of mind to actually read the scriptures as others were sharing. She clarified a fact in the story that, in my limiting beliefs, I had remembered incorrectly.

Beyond the time when our call ended, all of those who were on live today have been on a text thread that has helped me gain even more clarity. Thank you to all of those who were present today, to help me complete my work of Daily GPS today.

I am a work in progress, as all of us are.

Mary, on our call has had the singular opportunity to go into a space where a desire for fight or flight has existed in the past for her. She has had the courage to do her inner work while sitting in fear.

Ruby commented about the discouragement of never being finished. That thought gave way to the excitement and satisfaction of recognizing and celebrating growth.

Felicia shared how her husband, an engineer gets excited about the design process. Every stage is satisfying, not just the end result being complete.

And Phil reminded me that the work I am doing now is in the present, but to always have an eye on the me I am becoming.

Today, I Give Myself Permission to Just Be

• I am successful right now
• I am finished and I am constantly growing
• I am in a position to share and be what others need right now
• I have the talent right now
• I am equal to others who are on my path in that we are all doing our best
