Today's meditation took me down the rabbit hole when I read the sentence, " When you are working because you like what you do, the money will follow". There are so many books written based on this quote and with good reason. When you read it, one begins to dream about all the possibilities of making money just by loving what they do. Today's meditation is talking about your job but I challenge you to go beyond your job to find the answers to this quote. The author responsible for this quote is Joseph Campbell. In this episode we talk about a blog that we stumbled upon when we were preparing this podcast. If we work as if we were the boss and made decisions on that premise one day we may be the boss. If you are a business owner, what kind of employee would you want? Have you ever heard the expression, " you act like you own the company"?

By acting like the boss, one day you may very well own the company. There are companies that create incentives for employees to feel empowered to be part of something great. Companies and business owners find that by creating that environment, it will drive employees to be creative, loyal and cost-conscious. Experiment this week and work with the idea that this is your company. At the end of the week look back and see how you felt being the boss, the owner. Let me know what happened.

Today is Sunday and three things are shared in the podcast. Are you doing it or talking about doing it? In the past we have talked about your cornerstone habit and how habit is part of walking the walk not talking the talk. Some people are allergic to working. Success is allergic to those people. That is not just your job but also your goals. I had a terrible eating day yesterday but today I am giving myself a chance to succeed by remembering today's meditation. Success is a progressive realization of a worthwhile goal or dream. Remember that as you go about your day.

Insight starts with understanding your subconscious mind and how you can tap into harnessing the power of setting and reaching goals. How can you expect to do better than most at work or play if you don't have an action plan?

Whether it be your job or your business, by providing better service or working more than what you are paid, consistency is the key. I talk about my meetup group and how consistency of a good product produced more activity and membership for success.

A bull may have good qualities but you will never bring them out by waving a red flag in front in his face. Whether on a team or a job, taking the time to learn about the other side goes a long way. Don't tell them that they are great, show them by your actions.
