There may be unfinished work, tomorrow’s responsibilities or a conversation you keep replaying. The body may be ready for sleep while the heart is still holding on. So pause with Jesus. Colossians tells us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. Tonight, peace is not something we have to create by ourselves. We can make room for the peace Jesus gives. Lord Jesus, we bring You everything we have carried today. We surrender what went well and what went wrong, what we understand and what remains unanswered. Hold our families, our homes and our concerns. Quiet the anxious thoughts that keep circling, and teach us to rest in Your presence. We pray for Ireland, South Korea and Botswana. Bring peace to homes and comfort to those carrying worry tonight. We remember the Netherlands, Israel and Zimbabwe. Watch over families, strengthen those who feel unsettled and give peaceful rest to those who are weary. Holy Spirit, turn our hearts toward Jesus as we prepare to sleep. Señor Jesús, danos Tu paz. Senhor Jesus, dá-nos a Tua paz. Panginoong Jesus, bigyan Mo kami ng Iyong kapayapaan. This morning we ran to Jesus for refuge. We asked Him for wisdom, came to Him thirsty, and trusted Him when pressure arrived. Now we can release this day into His hands. Lord, we do not need to solve tomorrow tonight. Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts as we rest. Jesus has been our refuge, our wisdom, our living water and our strength. Tonight, He is our peace. Amen. A conversation may not have gone as planned. You may still be wondering how a difficult situation will work out. So pause with Jesus. Paul reminds Timothy that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. In Jesus, we do not have to let pressure decide how we respond. Lord Jesus, steady us tonight. Where fear has made us reactive, give us calm. Where disappointment has weakened our confidence, restore our hope. Give us power to do what is right, love to respond with grace and a sound mind when circumstances feel confusing. Help us stand firm without becoming hard, and trust You without pretending that everything is easy. We pray for Uganda, Canada and Brazil. Strengthen those facing setbacks, uncertainty and difficult circumstances. We remember Hungary, Romania and Russia. Bring comfort to families and communities, and renew hope where the day has been difficult. Holy Spirit, keep our hearts centred on Jesus. Señor Jesús, danos fuerza y esperanza. Teach us to trust You with what we cannot repair tonight. Jesus remains with us, and because He does, hope still has room to grow. Amen. John 7:37–38 — Come to Jesus and Drink: A Midday Prayer for Spiritual Renewal When You Feel Empty Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Renewal • Thirst • Strength Scripture — John 7:37–38 (NIV) Perhaps it is midday and you can feel the weight of the morning. You may have been giving to other people, solving problems, working hard or carrying responsibilities that nobody else can see. Sometimes the soul becomes thirsty long before we admit it. So pause with Jesus. In John 7, Jesus calls those who are thirsty to come to Him and drink. He speaks of living water. His invitation is not for people who have everything together. It is for those who know they need Him. Lord Jesus, we come to You now. Meet the person who feels empty. Renew the one who has become discouraged. Strengthen the one who is tired of trying to be strong. Let Your life flow into the places within us that have become dry, weary or discouraged. Teach us to receive from You rather than continually trying to give from ourselves. We pray for Australia, China and Hong Kong. Strengthen workers, families and communities carrying heavy responsibilities. We remember Ghana, Nigeria and Rwanda. Renew those who feel weary and give them perseverance for the rest of this day. Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. When fear tells us to run in every direction, Jesus invites us to come close. Give courage to anyone facing a difficult conversation, uncertain news or a responsibility that feels too large. Help us remember that Your presence is stronger than the fear in front of us. So pause with Jesus. He says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” Tonight, we do not have to earn His love, explain our day or solve tomorrow. So pause with Jesus. He knows what it is to stand in the middle of troubled circumstances. His words are simple: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” Lord Jesus, we bring You the things that have unsettled us today. We bring You disappointment, unanswered questions and situations we cannot change. Keep our hearts from being ruled by what we see. Teach us to trust You when circumstances do not make sense. We pray for Uganda, Canada and Brazil. Three Prayer Themes: Dependence • Renewal • Strength Scripture — John 15:5 (NIV) Perhaps it is midday and the strength you had this morning is beginning to disappear. Your body may be tired, your thoughts crowded, or your heart worn down by carrying responsibilities. You have kept going, but perhaps you know you cannot keep drawing strength from yourself forever. So pause with Jesus. He says, “Remain in me.” Then He reminds us that apart from Him we can do nothing. This is not a message of condemnation. It is an invitation to stop pretending we are self-sufficient and come back to the One who gives us life. Lord Jesus, we remain with You now. We bring You our tiredness, our unfinished work and the things that have drained our strength. Teach us to depend on You without shame. Renew the person who feels empty. Strengthen the person who is discouraged. Give perseverance to the one who wonders how they will keep going. We pray for Australia, China and Hong Kong. Strengthen workers, families and communities carrying heavy responsibilities. We remember Ghana, Nigeria and Rwanda. Renew those who are weary and give them grace for the hours ahead. Holy Spirit, draw us deeper into the presence of Jesus. Señor Jesús, permanecemos en Ti. Senhor Jesus, permanecemos em Ti. Panginoong Jesus, nananatili kami sa Iyo. Lord, we have looked to You this morning and listened for Your voice. Now teach us the quiet strength of remaining with You. We do not have to manufacture strength. John 10:27 — My Sheep Listen to My Voice: A Morning Prayer for Guidance and Direction Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Listening • Wisdom • Direction Scripture — John 10:27 (NIV) The day is moving now, and perhaps you have already reached a decision you need to make. There may be voices around you offering advice, opinions and expectations. Sometimes the hardest thing is knowing which voice deserves our attention. So pause with Jesus. He says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Jesus is not asking us to navigate life alone. He knows us, and He invites us to listen. Lord Jesus, quiet the noise around us. Help us recognise what is wise, true and good. When we are tempted to rush because we feel pressured, give us patience. When we are afraid of making the wrong choice, remind us that You are with us. Teach us to listen before we act and to follow You one faithful step at a time. We pray for Germany, Kenya and Austria. Give wisdom to families, leaders and communities making important decisions. We remember Belgium, Spain and France. Bring clarity to those facing change, uncertainty and difficult choices. Holy Spirit, make our hearts attentive to Jesus. Help us recognise His voice without confusion or fear. Señor Jesús, habla a nuestros corazones. Senhor Jesus, fala aos nossos corações. Panginoong Jesus, pakinggan Ka namin. Lord, yesterday we asked You to help us keep our eyes on Jesus. Today, teach us to listen to Him as well. We do not need every answer at once. We need a willing heart and the courage to follow where Jesus leads. When many voices compete for our attention, let the voice of Jesus become the one we trust. Amen. Psalm 16:8 — I Keep My Eyes Always on the Lord: A Morning Prayer for Protection and Courage Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Presence • Protection • Courage Scripture — Psalm 16:8 (NIV) Before the day has properly begun, perhaps there is already something on your mind. You may be thinking about a person you love, a responsibility ahead, or something you cannot control. Fear has a way of pulling our attention toward everything that might go wrong. So pause with Jesus. Psalm 16 says, “I keep my eyes always on the Lord.” What a different way to begin the day. We do not have to stare at our problems all morning. We can turn our attention toward Jesus. Lord Jesus, keep our eyes fixed on You today. When fear rises, remind us that You are near. When circumstances feel uncertain, help us remember that Your presence is not changing. Give courage to the person who feels vulnerable and peace to the person who woke carrying a heavy heart. We pray for the United States, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Watch over families, communities and those facing difficult circumstances. We remember Singapore, Japan and South Africa. Bring wisdom, protection and peace to those beginning this day. Holy Spirit, gently turn our hearts back toward Jesus whenever worry takes our attention away. Señor Jesús, estamos mirando a Ti. Senhor Jesus, nós olhamos para Ti. Panginoong Jesus, sa Iyo kami tumitingin. Lord, we give You this day before we know what it will contain. We do not need to see everything ahead. We simply need to keep our eyes on You and take the next faithful step. And perhaps that is enough for this morning: Jesus before us, Jesus beside us, and our hearts learning to look to Him. Amen.
