SCRIPTURE — JOHN 16:33 (NIV) “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Now the day is coming to an end. Perhaps you are grateful for what went well, or perhaps you are still carrying something difficult from today. Jesus never pretended that life would be free from trouble. But He also never left His people without hope. He said, “Take heart! I have overcome the world.” Tonight we pray for people in China, Hong Kong, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda. Bring peace to homes where there has been tension, comfort to those carrying sorrow, and courage to people facing tomorrow with uncertainty. Holy Spirit, settle anxious hearts and turn our attention towards Jesus. Lord Jesus, we cannot solve every problem before we sleep. So we release them to You. The conversation we keep replaying, the person we are worried about, the decision waiting for us tomorrow, and the things happening beyond our control—we place them into Your hands. You have overcome the world. That does not mean every difficulty disappears tonight, but it means trouble does not have the final word. So we choose to take heart. We choose to trust You. We choose to rest. Jesus, guard our minds from fear during the night. Let Your presence become more real to us than the worries that have followed us through the day. Tomorrow will come in its own time. Tonight belongs to You. We rest in the victory of Jesus. Amen. SCRIPTURE — ROMANS 8:38–39 (NIV) “Nothing… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” As evening comes, you may be thinking about everything that happened today. Some things went well. Other things may have disappointed you. Perhaps there is still a question you cannot answer or a situation you cannot fix. But tonight, there is something you can be certain of: the love of God in Christ Jesus is not fragile. Today we pray for people in Kenya, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, and Australia. Surround families, communities and individuals with the assurance of Your love. Be near to those facing uncertainty, grief, pressure or change. Holy Spirit, remind us that our security is found not in perfect circumstances but in Jesus. Lord Jesus, there are things we cannot control, but Your love is stronger than our uncertainty. We do not have to spend this evening trying to predict tomorrow. We can place tomorrow into Your hands. Where we have failed today, lead us towards grace. Where we have been hurt, help us begin to release the pain. Where we have been afraid, remind us that we are not separated from You. Jesus, anchor our hearts in what does not change. People may disappoint us. Circumstances may shift. Plans may change. But Your love remains. So we finish this day with hope. Not because everything has been resolved, but because we belong to You. Not simply physically tired, but tired from carrying responsibilities, caring for other people, thinking about problems, or trying to keep everything together. Jesus does not tell the weary to try harder. He says, “Come to me.” Lord Jesus, we come to You now. Today we pray for people in South Korea, Botswana, Netherlands, Israel, Zimbabwe, and the United States. Meet people carrying burdens that nobody else can see. Strengthen parents, carers, workers, leaders and those who have been quietly trying to cope. Holy Spirit, help us release what we were never meant to carry alone. Jesus, we bring You our tiredness. We bring You the pressure to have everything sorted, the fear of disappointing others, and the thoughts that keep turning over in our minds. Teach us that coming to You is not weakness. It is trust. Give us grace for today’s responsibilities without allowing those responsibilities to become our identity. Help us pause when we need to pause, breathe when we need to breathe, and remember that our lives are held by You. Jesus, we receive Your invitation again: come. John 10:27 — “My Sheep Listen to My Voice”: A Prayer for Knowing Which Way to Go Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Listening • Discernment • Direction Scripture — John 10:27 (NIV) “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Prayer Perhaps the morning has brought a decision you do not know how to make. There may be voices around you offering opinions, expectations or advice, while inside you are simply asking, “Jesus, what should I do?” You said, “My sheep listen to my voice.” Lord Jesus, teach us to recognise Your voice in the middle of all the other voices. Your guidance does not need to compete with noise. You lead us as a good Shepherd, and You know where we need to go. Today we pray for people in Uganda, Canada, Brazil, Hungary, Romania, and Russia. Give wisdom to those facing important decisions, patience to those who are waiting, and discernment to those who are unsure which direction to take. Holy Spirit, quiet the noise within us so that we can listen with open hearts. Jesus, keep us close enough to You that Your character shapes our choices. When something looks attractive but is not right, give us discernment. When fear makes us hesitate, give us courage. When we want immediate answers, teach us to trust Your timing. We do not want simply to ask You to bless the direction we have already chosen. We want to walk with You and allow You to shape the way ahead. So today, Shepherd of our souls, lead us one step at a time. If we cannot see the whole road, give us light for the next part. If we are uncertain, keep us close. Three Prayer Themes: Fear • Faith • Courage Scripture — Mark 4:39 (NIV)  “Quiet! Be still!” Prayer There are mornings when fear seems to arrive before the day has properly begun. Perhaps something is happening in your family, your community, your country, or somewhere in the world that has unsettled your heart. Before you try to work it all out, come quietly to Jesus. The disciples were frightened when the storm rose around them, but Jesus stood in the boat and spoke to the wind and waves. Lord Jesus, You are not intimidated by the storms that intimidate us. You are Lord over what we cannot control, and You can bring stillness into a heart that has been running on fear. Today we pray for people in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Ghana, Nigeria, and Rwanda. Meet people who woke with uncertainty, families facing difficult circumstances, and communities carrying burdens that feel too large. Holy Spirit, help us remember that the presence of Jesus is greater than the fear surrounding us. Jesus, speak into the places where our hearts are restless. Where we are tempted to imagine the worst, teach us to trust You. Where we feel powerless, remind us that we can pray. Where we need courage, give us enough faith for the next step. We do not need to know how every storm will end. We need to know who is with us in the boat. Jesus, keep our eyes on You today. Quiet what is raging within us, strengthen our faith, and help us walk forward knowing that You are Lord. Amen.
