John Lund, KNBR in San Francisco, who hosts an afternoon sports show and is the 49ers Pre/Post-Game Show host joined Puck to preview the game tonight. Both teams are banged up, so whoever can whether the injury front the better will most likely win.
Lund said that the 49ers receivers have really struggled in man coverage this year, especially Deebo Samuel, who Lund said has “sucked this year” and it has put Brock Purdy in a bad position. He has consistently been leaving the pocket to avoid pressure and give his receivers more time to get open but in doing so he’s been taking unnecessary hits in the process .
San Francisco has problems on the defensive line and it’s probably an area where Seattle will attack. What’s the future of Christian McCaffrey? The outlook doesn’t sound good.
