Daily Puck Drop w/ Jim Moore : Seahawks destroyed. Weekend Roundup. Guests: "Ground Puck" w/ Curtis Crabtree & Tim Booth, Seahawks looked terrible.

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore jump right into the Seahawks miserable loss. One of the worst they have seen from a defense in years. Puck and Jim also were mad at Michigan for not beating Washington and they can’t figure out how a program like Michigan can’t have a QB!!

What’s the worst part of the defense? is it the linebackers or defensive line? Puck is not impressed with the linebackers. So far, Mike Macdonald has not fixed the defense especially against the run. How concerning is that especially with the 49ers looming on Thursday, which is probably a must win game for both teams if they want to make the playoffs.

On Monday’s Weekend RoundUp…Puck details the results of the Interbay Eagles, his son’s youth football team. The results of the college football weekend which saw Jonathan Smith covering the spread vs. Oregon. Kalen DeBoer blows it against Vanderbilt and fans already pissed at him. Miami and Cam Ward stormed back to beat Cal, which was a great site for College GameDay.

How in the world did the Seahawks lose to the lowly New York Giants? The defense was completely outplayed and had no answer for the the Giants, despite Malik Nabers and Devin Singletary being out. What is the biggest problem for the defense? Is it the defensive line or the lack of playmakers at linebacker?

The offense wasn’t much better. Ryan Grubb did not have a good day. Ken Walker managed just five carries in the game and just two in the first half. The Seahawks dropped back on 51 of their 58 plays. That just can’t continue to happen if the Seahawks want to win games.

The upcoming schedule is real pivotal for the Seahawks, starting on Thursday with the 49ers. After that they head to Atlanta to take on an explosive Falcons offense and then it’s back home to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The season has a chance to slip away real fast.

Lastly, “Hey, What the Puck?!” Defense is still a problem and Mike Macdonald has yet to fix it.
