  • Ep. 38 | junk on my piano

Yoo we are back after what appears to be our longest break yet. 11 weeks have passed since the last episode and of course, a lot has happened. How could it be any different? What would Ludwig's girls' name be and what's new in the music world? Of course, you will see what the title is all about...we don't do clickbait...no no. So hear you soon. Kisses <3

  • Ep. 37 | question your decision

We need to chill. This episode turned out very long but so cool. I swear. So much has happened, which we always say, but really!!! And the boys have now made it and are on their last summer holidays. Cinema hits different and Scarlett Johansson is not satisfied with $20 million in film fees for Black Widow. But Disney doesn't care. What we should be concerned about, however, is our planet. The effects of climate change are extreme at the moment. Question your decisions and consider the risk of loving someone. This episode lies above the average enjoyment so have fun with this quality premium episode for free. Think about it! Ciao Carl :)

  • Ep. 36 | Prunella's rap

Buongiorno, cari ascoltatori. This episode is a very special one, not only because we have a full 106 minutes without having done the 5 questions but because of our particular guest. Ms Strobel, our English teacher for the last eight years, agreed to join us for this episode. The current only shameful situation in England is critically critiqued by the three (it's about the European Championship btw) among other topics such as Harry Potter that earn praise. We try our hand at a tongue twister, talk about past English lessons and puzzle over the really important questions in life, you'll see...or hear what I mean. Plus, of course, there's another fantastic selection of weekly recommendations. Be excited and have fun listening :)

  • Ep. 35 | disinventing fists

Yep, we actually did it. A full year of podcast adventure together on over 48 hours of content. That is actually sick. In this episode, we spend a little time reminiscing about old episodes. Somehow not too much happened, but still, there are a few interesting stories. Today there are 6 new songs for you to discover and a little guessing game as well. Carl's postman can time travel just like this episode is a travel through time. Enjoy :)

  • Ep. 34 | Asparagus

Hola! Soon this podcast will have been running for a year. Grab some biscuits, a cocktail or whatever: Ludwig and Carl are in a talkative mood. The Buberts, the latest Corona stats, our blonde head on the USA again and all kinds of laughs for the whole family await you. An episode like the slide of a donkey goes down like gravity. Kisses and thanks for everything. We'll catch you later in the fishing shop.

  • Ep. 33 | barbecue in the rain

If we have Water Melon, shouldn't we also have Fire Melon, Earth Melon and Air Melon? The ELEMELONS! Since Monday the last exam is done and the boys have now pretty much 4 months of free time. Corona is over? congrats I guess? Well, it's all very strange, it feels not really right to return to normality. For example, who wants to shake hands again, how nasty. In this episode, you will learn many interesting things that touch Carl and Ludwig and also what has been happening lately. Samsung has a new virtual assistant and Olivia Rodrigo's debut album Sour is really going through the roof. Find out what other music you should listen to and why Carl and Ludwig should start a relationship. We had great fun with this extra-long episode, hopefully, it will be just as much fun to listen to. Take care, Carl.

  • Ep. 32 | rock, paper, scissors, rockets

The English-speaking German boys are back. After only 8 weeks, the next episode is already out, so fast that even Formula 1 can't keep up. Many problems occur, but many beautiful things also happen. Do you wonder what I'm talking about? Well, this episode, for example, is a marvelous piece of entertainment that brings a few surprises along with it. Besides, a lot has happened in the past time that is worth talking about. The Chinese are doing weird space stuff and cryptocurrency is going crazy again. And what about the oral exam in English? Well, it's finally done, but you'll really have to turn on the episode to find out for yourselves. Have fun :)

  • Ep. 31 | kids with guns

Today, as promised, another episode with a new guest. Anneke, a professional expert on her subject, brings us a little closer to the world of crazy ice cream flavors. Furthermore, Carl's private life is taking big steps towards becoming a professional baker. After all, he has now made macarons for the second time AND he watches "The Great British Bake Off". That's got to be something. Ludwig, on the other hand, knows all about creating dazzling new hairstyles and braids. And because Carl was reading Obama's book yesterday, this time there is an inspiring quote to the episode start with. For those who want to read it, here it is again: "I'm convinced that the pandemic we're currently living through is both a manifestation of and a mere interruption in the relentless march toward an interconnected world, one in which peoples and cultures can't help but collide. In that world - of global supply chains, instantaneous capital transfers, social media, transnational terrorist networks, climate change, mass migration, and ever-increasing complexity - we will learn to live together, cooperate with one another, and recognize the dignity of others, or we will perish." ~ Barack Obama "A Promised Land"

  • Ep. 30 | christmas bunnies

Easter and Christmas are both Christian holidays that are completely exploited by the chocolate industry. So why buy this festive chocolate at all if it tastes the same anyway. Netflix will soon be like a TV channel but carl has canceled his subscription anyway. Today a slightly quieter episode without a lot of ballyhoos. Just listen to us jabbering and be surprised by the topics. Have fun :)

  • Ep. 29 | Shooting cats

Welcome back folks to another episode with a new guest in our little show today. Liane delights us with her presence and we are rambling a bit about current topics. Peter lost a column but we are through with our pre-baccalaureate. We answer a leftover question from last week and over in America Trump actually said something good for once. Well done, I didn't expect that. Tenet is mentioned again and Carl is through with Wanda Vision a solid 7/10. And well, what can I say about the question of our favorite actor/actress, Carl's answer was pretty predictable. Daisy *cough* Ridley *cough*. Carl also wrote this, by the way, it's a bit strange to write about yourself in the third person. Watch Queen's Gambit, The End of the F***ing World and Friends and have a nice day like Ludwig's billboard would say. Or is it? Just listen to this wonderful episode with our wonderful guest. Cheers.
