Daily Success

Robert L. May was the man who introduced the oddball reindeer Rudolph and his triumphant tale to the world. The symbol of hope and optimism that Bob May created for himself and his daughter during some dark times kept on returning to bless him again and again. 

And May learned the lesson, just like his dear friend Rudolph, that being different isn’t so bad. In fact, being different can be a blessing.

May the magic of Christmas fill every corner of your heart and home with joy and love — now and always. Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas!

It’s great to listen to magnificent stories of generosity and altruism to lift our spirits during the holiday season, although we don’t have to feel obliged to make a service or contribution of that scale. Sometimes, it’s not needed and also not possible considering our circumstances.

You don’t need to invite all the people in our building over for the holiday party, give a hundred dollar bill to a homeless person, or buy Christmas gifts for a poverty-stricken family. But instead, you can perform certain small acts of unconditional kindness to make the holidays better for you as well as other people. These minuscule acts not only help you get in the holiday spirit but also lighten up the lives of everyone around you.

There are no coincidences, but only signs of alignment. These are confirmations given by the Universe, that we are aligned with our Inner Being, indications that all things are happening as they should be and we need to trust their timing.

We must always strive to help and rescue others, regardless of their race, color, religion, or nation. Without an ounce of resistance, prejudice, and social toxicity, doing so helps us get closer to the Higher Power. Because this is how nature designed us to be — it is our function to do good for the species into which we are born. In other words, altruism is in our DNA.

When you say the truth, you might disappoint others, but you please yourself. When you say a lie, you might please others, but you disappoint yourself.

Disappointing people with the truth and loving yourself for doing so always trumps pleasing them with a lie and hating yourself for doing that.

While we’re not sure how things will turn out next year, and while it’s safe to assume that we might expect more chaos, disturbance, and disruption in the coming months, we must resolve to not get victimized by the difficult circumstances that we find ourselves in and not let them deter us from setting new and mighty goals in 2022. 

Detach from what’s going in the world and set big, hairy, and audacious goals for yourself. It doesn’t matter whether you get your desired outcomes or not, what’s more important is that you take the big swing and push yourself out of your comfort zone.

Today, on December 17th, the new Spider-Man movie Spider-Man: No Way Home releases worldwide. If you’re a Spider-Man enthusiast, you know how special this movie is gonna be. And so, on this occasion, let's dedicate this episode in honor of our friendly neighborhood superhero. 

This special episode of Daily Success Podcast features a speech by the late, great comic book writer and publisher Stan Lee. In this clip, Stan shares the story of how the iconic Spider-Man came into being and how the idea was almost squashed. After being told that it was a terrible idea, Stan decided to move forward with the idea anyway and the rest, as we know, is history.
