It is not enough to be conservative, you must be Christian. Secularism, in all its forms (including conservative secularism), will not last. It arrogantly assumes that you can establish a trustworthy house on the foundation of sinking sand. In the final analysis, it is either Christ or chaos.

Are there two tracks for salvation, one for Israel and another for the Gentiles? Did God replace Israel and cut them out of his covenant forever? Or does God have an eternal plan which includes a “partial hardening” of Israel for a time, but the ultimate “grafting” of both Jews and Gentiles into the same salvific root?

Our nation continues to insist that civil war was justified to end slavery, but we simultaneously insist that a civil war would not be justified to end abortion (which is responsible for the murder of 60,000,000 children). It was right for America to abolish slavery, but perhaps it was wrong to accomplish this feat at the cost of 650,000 American lives. Other western nations abolished slavery peacefully, and many of these nations are not experiencing the deep-seated conflict over racial issues that America is. Perhaps, the “cold” civil war that America is currently experiencing is God’s judgment, not for unjust slavery in the past but an unjust civil war in the past.

God sovereignly appoints nations, and even empires. God sovereignly sets their boundaries and numbers their days. However, because the heart of man has not changed down through the centuries, every major empire has had a these key characteristics in common.

The Bible unapologetically affirms national borders. Not only are nations permitted to defend themselves against foreign threats, but the Bible teaches that nations are divinely instituted by God and commanded to defend themselves against both domestic and foreign threats.

We often speak of God as possessing attributes, but this language is inaccurate. God is a “simple” Being who is not “divisible” in parts.

False teaching builds a ministry with poison; the people subjected to it are DECEIVED and DESTROYED. But “watered-down” teaching seeks to build a ministry with nothing at all, neither poison nor nourishment. The people subjected to this kind of ministry are eventually STARVED.
