The Faith Framework 6

Tuesday, 6th May

From the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18, Jesus asked an important question that is still relevant to us as believers today, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” The answer is yes—He will find people who believe in Him. But Jesus was referring to another kind of faith: the kind that believes in His finished work on the cross and stands firm until the promises of God are fully manifested.

Many people, overwhelmed by life’s challenges, have settled for mere survival, focusing only on making it to heaven while having little or nothing to show for their time on earth. It’s important that we keep our hope not just for the things in heaven but reach out in faith for the things God has already made available for us on earth now. Remember, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” That means there are rewards to be received in this life as we persist in faith. Like the widow, we must know our rights in Christ and be willing to stand our ground.

In Mark 10:28–30 (NLT) Peter asked Jesus, what reward would come from following Him:

“Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake... will receive now in return a hundred times as many... along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.”

This confirms that God blesses us both now and in eternity. The issue is not whether rewards exist—it’s whether Jesus will find believers exercising the faith required to receive them.

So, ask yourself: Do I have the kind of faith that stands until God’s promises manifest? I pray you will do all you have to do to grow in that faith and receive all that Christ has made available for you in Jesus’ Name.

The Faith Framework 4

After sharing the parable of the persistent widow, Jesus asked His disciples a profound question: “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8). The Passion Translation frames it as: “Will He find this kind of persistent faith in His people?”

Faith, as expressed in Scripture, has different dimensions. The first is believing in God—trusting that He exists, that Jesus came, died, and offers salvation. The second is believing that God will do what He has promised to do. This second kind of faith is what Jesus was talking about: persistent, enduring faith.

Sadly, this dimension of faith is becoming rare. Many believers struggle to stand firm when God's promises seem delayed. Yet, Hebrews 11:6 (GWT) reminds us:

“No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”

This verse outlines two dimensions of faith.

• Faith that God exists.

• Faith that God rewards.

Many people believe in the existence of God, but most people don’t believe that God is actively involved in their lives and has great rewards for them in this present world and in heaven. The truth is that, the manifestation of God’s rewards in our lives is not automatic, we must diligently pursue it with focus and dedication. It is this kind of pursuit, focus and dedication the widow applied in getting the unjust judge to grant her what she requested for. But that tenacity of faith is not in most believers again. This is the kind of faith Jesus is looking for. Faith that doesn’t quit. Faith that presses on for healing, provision, protection, or breakthrough—whatever God has promised.

Are you ready to stand your ground? Do you believe God is a rewarder? Are you persistent in your faith, waiting and expecting His promises to manifest?

The Faith Framework 3

As we continue study, we’re drawing inspiration from the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. She had approached the unrighteous city judge to demand justice from her adversary, but because he had no regard for God or people, he paid no attention to her. She refused to give up, when the unrighteous judge saw her determination to get justice, he answered and gave her and gave her all she wanted.

At the end of the parable, Jesus posed a profound question: “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” This question remains as relevant today as it was then.

Let’s see how this question is asked in different translation of the Bible (Luke. 18:8):

MKJV: “He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?”

TPT: “God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting... Will He find this kind of undying faith on earth?”

AMPC: “He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistent] faith on the earth?”

Yes, Jesus will find faith—because it takes faith to believe in Him. But He’s not referring to this kind of faith. Here, he’s talking about the faith it takes to receive the manifestation of God’s promise. It’s truly getting rare. This kind of faith stands its ground. It doesn’t waver with time or pressure. We sing the song, “God said it, I believe it, that settles it...” But are we truly standing until the manifestation comes?

Today, God is calling us to stand firm, believe, and persist until His promises become reality in our lives.

I pray your faith will be strengthened through this study and you will experience new levels of manifestation in Jesus' Name.

The Faith Framework 2

As we continue exploring the subject of The Faith Framework, we turn our focus to practical elements that help us live by faith and walk in greater victory. Faith is foundational to our relationship with God—it takes faith, alongside grace, to receive salvation, and it also takes faith to grow and live out God’s purpose daily.

The Bible makes it clear: “The just shall live by faith.” This statement is so vital it appears in both the Old and New Testaments—Habakkuk, Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews all affirm it. The “just” are those who have come to know Jesus, and their lifestyle must be lived out by faith.

Revisiting the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8, the widow stood her ground before the unrighteous judge, seeking justice against her adversary. Even though the judge neither feared God nor cared for people, he eventually granted her request—not out of compassion, but because of her relentless persistence.

Jesus concluded the parable with a powerful question in Luke 18:8;

(MKJV), I say to you that He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?

(TPT), God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so, when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?”

(AMPC), I tell you; He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [[a]persistence in] faith on the earth?

This isn’t just about having faith in God to go to heaven, it’s about having persistent faith to possess your possessions on earth. The kind that refuses to quit. The kind that stands firm on God’s promises, regardless of delay or opposition. This type of faith is becoming rare, but this is one of the major things Jesus expects from us today.

The Faith Framework 1

We thank God for bringing us into the month of May, the fifth month of the year. His love, mercy, and grace have sustained us, and for that, we give Him all the praise. I pray that the grace of Jesus will be abundant in your life this month and that His mercy and love will continually surround you in Jesus’ Name.

This month, we will be discussing the subject of faith – The Faith Framework. Faith is one of those foundational teachings of the Bible of which much is said but little is understood. We will discuss this with a fresh perspective and clearly, we will not be able to fully exhaust this topic. But we trust God to equip you enough to be able to build up and grow in your faith from there.

In the Gospel of Luke 18:1-8, Jesus gave the story of a wicked judge and a widow who got justice from the judge in spite of his unwillingness to help her. How did she do it – she was persistent in her faith. After telling His disciples this parable, he asked them a question;

Luke 18:8(MKJV), I say to you that He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?

Luke 18: 8 (TPT), God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so, when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?”

Luke 18:8 (AMPC), I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [[a]persistence in] faith on the earth?

Jesus was asking if He will meet faith on earth when He comes and the straight answer to that is yes. Without faith on the earth, He wouldn’t return. There will be a lot of people who have faith in Jesus when He comes, the challenge is – “Do you have the faith to believe that what He promised you will manifest in your life?” This is the real question Jesus was asking.

He’s Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 10

Our focus has been on The Resurrection Experience — it’s the account of Jesus’ last day on earth before His crucifixion, to His resurrection and ascension. We’ve discussed His suffering, crucifixion, death, descent into hell, His ascension and current ministry at the right hand of God.

As we've discussed a few days earlier, there is a partnership between God’s role and ours. John Wesley wisely said, "Without God, we cannot; without us, God will not." While God's Word is eternally settled in heaven, we are responsible for establishing it in our lives on earth. Paul urged Timothy to remember the prophecies spoken over him and use them in fighting a good warfare to see them fulfilled. Likewise, we must not be passive but actively engage with the truths we’ve received. How do we do that?

Hebrews 4:14 (GNB), "Let us then hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we have a great High Priest who has gone into the very presence of God—Jesus, the Son of God."

Without faith, it’s impossible to walk with God. The work of Christ in heaven requires our cooperation on the earth and faith is a key component in that process.

Our response to Christ’s present-day ministry must be that of unwavering faith. We must stand firm, wage spiritual warfare, confess the Word, pray in the Spirit, fast when needed, and maintain a Christlike attitude. By doing so, we align ourselves with what is already established in heaven and bring it into manifestation on earth. Satanic opposition is real. The devil will do everything he can to delay and derail what God has planned for you. Jesus will not change His position to bless you, the forces of hell know they can do nothing about that. Their only option then is to get you out of alignment with Jesus.

May you remain steadfast in your faith till you see the manifestation of all that Jesus has promised you and your loved ones in every area of your life in Jesus’ Name.

He’s Alive Again: The Present-Day Ministry of Jesus 9

Jesus’ resurrection is not just a one-off demonstration of power grace, and love—it is a continuous theme of His present-day ministry on our behalf.

As we reflect on the resurrection this season, it’s important to understand that Jesus' triumph was not just to prove that the Kingdom of God was more powerful than the kingdom of darkness, we were on His mind. He is our perfect representative in heaven. He is fully God, yet fully man, and He understands every struggle we face. When Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, (Phil. 4:13)" it is rooted in the understanding that Jesus walked this earth, experienced its challenges and triumphed, so we can receive that same grace from Him.

God is not distant or disconnected from our daily lives. He is intimately involved in every detail—big and small. When you are sensitive to His presence, you’ll realize He constantly inviting you: "Bring your pressures, your victories, your failures, your celebrations, your pain—bring it all to Me." He desires to be an active part of your life, no matter the situation. At the throne of grace, Jesus is interceding for you. Whether you need mercy, strength, wisdom, or grace, He is ready to supply it. He knows your weaknesses, your fears, your dreams—and He cares deeply.

You are not alone. Whether you feel you’re in a good place with Him or even if you stumbled, His arms remain open. He invites you to come boldly, to receive help, healing, and restoration. He is our true High Priest, always present, always faithful. Take advantage of all He’s made available to you and watch how it would add beauty to your life.
