Dammit Vacant

So much wrestling to kick off 2022!! NJPW moves to the review section with WrestleKingdom as well as GCW. All this in addition to Bryan vs Danielson II from AEW and some questionable booking from WWE from Day One.

John runs us through the latest batch of releases (Regal forever), Okada’s dream matches and some newly weds in the news.

Sexy Kev Lloyd guest stars as he talks about how he got into the business, his love of technical wrestling and how he plans to use Warrington Wrestling Academy to help train future wrestlers.

This was an insightful conversation and includes the history of Catch Wrestling and its influence on pro wrestling today.

We look forward to seeing what Kevin does in 2022!

We've made it through the year and we are here to review the best parts of 2021 in what was a crazy year for wrestling. Who were our wrestlers, matches and special moments of the year amongst other categories.

We also review AEW and WWE shows and make Day 1 predictions.

Happy New year everyone!

See you in 2022

As well as John's news we enjoy the debut of HOOK and discuss Winter is Coming including Ellis's fever dream about the AEW title match that involved Mankind…

We also recap Luke Harper vs Randy Orton from Elimination Chamber 2017 after Amanda Huber mentioned it in her excellent Players' Tribune article (link below)

No Ellis this week so John and Joe are allowed to talk nonsense unrestricted. You will get news, computer game nonsense, anger at the internet and 12 types of toot.

WARGAMES! The final PPV of the year and we make our predictions for the first NXT 2.0 PPV

We reflect on Vince's new pal on Raw, the joy of Rampage, the festive season is upon us and Joe gets very confused about sharks for a bit too long.

In the run up to Christmas please consider donating to our chosen charity The Wood Street Mission. They provide toys for kids in our city that otherwise wouldn't get anything. So get that warm feeling in your tummy tum by donating a couple of quid yeah?

Did you take Vince’s Golden gifted Egg? You get a title shot if you did!

Anyway….in addition to AEW reviews we run over the key points of survivor series and take a look back at some nostalgia with 2001’s Team WWF vs Team Alliance Survivor Series match when these things had stakes.

John breaks down the news from the sad and bizarre story of the Seth Rollins attacker, New Japan latest and (sigh) more WWE releases

We review AEW Full Gear and its fallout as Ellis's upsetting prediction about Danielson becomes closer.

We also make our predictions for this weekend's survivor series and John runs down the news including a NJPW BOSJ update and Becky's interview addressing her issues with Charlotte

It’s AEW Full Gear weekend and we make our predictions…what did Ellis say about the main event to dishearten Joe and John so much?!

We also review the week's shows, including some fire promos from Eddie and Punk, and reflect on the sad WWE releases last week (which happened right after we finished recording).

Joe hosts a fun guess the intro segment. Can you beat Ellis and John's team effort?

We also review this weeks shows from AEW and WWE, look at the evolving ROH situation, mourn Danhausen's injury and send our best to Jon Moxley who everyone should be proud of that man right now. Always ask for help if you need it
