To live as we were ultimately designed, will mean that we must bring all of our unearned and undeserved liberties under the government of the love that afforded us these very liberties. To refuse to expose these gifts and liberties to love's consuming fire argues not that we are free, but rather we did not know the true nature of our Father.

When you and I begin to make the shift from a love that's only for those who are like us and into the true definition of love Jesus taught, we will begin to see real change in the lives of those around us. It becomes the gate by which true transformation and repentance can come - simply by having a Christ like love.

We are beginning to understand the nature of how we are to view God through Christ, while coming to understand the nature of how God views us through Christ. From there, the Abba revelation helps explode us into grace. A grace that moves us into face to face union!

The marriage between beloved identity and perfect righteousness is ultimately called to produce one thing...love. A love that Jesus so beautifully exemplified to His disciples and called it the new commandment. Which then creates a new wineskin whereby love is the key. A love for Him but also a love for one another.

The Homestead Mobile - June 13th, 2025

In the book of John, we find Jesus telling His disciples about a new commandment. A new commandment that ultimately creates a new wineskin. What is this new commandment? Love. A love that is rooted and grounded in our beloved identity. Even today, Jesus is reminding us that it all works by love.

Re-Identification is personal and Reclamation is missional. Inside of these two ideas, there's a marriage of personal transformation and missional impact. This revelation is revealing to us that from this season forward, it will require our real identification to travel. Without it, we're tied to ground transportation. However, with our real Identification, we can travel far above the man made limitations.

To have a cosmic theology without understanding the personal importance of intimate engagement in union, we can miss becoming image bearer's that can create cosmic reform. Equally, to think it's only about your personal relationship with God, and not about cosmic impact, can keep us from really becoming the body of Christ.

The position is face to face, the posture is rest and the goal is Abide. We are designed to remain in a state of face to face communion by way of grace teaching us to rest.
