In our first episode of The Whisky Tasting Game Joe introduces the rules to the competitors before they all dive in to smell, taste and describe their first mystery whisky. By the end of the series the competitor who has described the whiskies most accurately, intriguingly, and poetically, will take home the prize of a £150 bottle of Scotch.

This dram evokes a merry piper calling in the fish wives for Ralph, while Nathy finds sole of a maiden's foot and touch of horse hoof on the nose. As with the whole series, the episode title is a cryptic crossword clue which reveals what this week's mystery whisky is, so if you can crack that you'll know what the whisky is before we reveal it at the end.
