    Laura Roth studied modern dance at Southeast Missouri State University and, since 2013, has been dancing professionally in St. Louis, MO. She has performed the work of choreographers such as Lindsay Hawkins, Robert Poe, Mariko Kumanomido, Leah Robertson, Vance Baldwin, Ashley McQueen, Keli Hermes, Diana Barrios, Jenny Battenberg, and Jennifer Medina. In addition to company concerts, Laura has danced in festivals throughout the region including Dance St. Louis' Spring to Dance, Kansas City’s Fringe Festival, City in Motion's Modern Night at the Folly, Karlovsky & Company’s Dine on Dance, and National Dance Week St. Louis. Having grown up performing in and choreographing musical theatre productions in and around her hometown of Jacksonville, IL, she has been thrilled to have opportunities to choreograph musicals in the St. Louis area. She has also had the pleasure of teaching year-long courses and master classes with several performing arts organizations. Laura recently returned to her alma mater, SEMO, for a four-day residency during which she set a piece of choreography on the Freshmen BFA Dance students and taught master classes.  Continue reading for highlights from Laura's career.

    Katie lives in Orange County, California with her two dogs and enjoys watching the extended versions of The Lord of the Rings when she isn’t dancing or writing.

Denise has also had the honor of performing the choreography of Savion Glover at a showcase in New York City. She performed on tour in Australia, dancing all over the continent in Elvis to the Max. Her choreography has been seen in many productions in which she performed, including shows at Caesars Windsor in Ontario, Canada.

    Let's give a warm DTD welcome to new Author, Victoria Agrifolio!!! 

    Victoria is from Fairfield, New Jersey and began dancing at age three. She studied at the School of American Ballet for five years, and while at the School, she danced in student workshops and performed roles in multiple productions with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center, including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Mozartiana, amongst others. Victoria had the opportunity to dance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, perform during the Lincoln Center Tree Lighting, and appear in the movie Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake. She was a member of New Jersey Ballet’s Junior Company and performed major roles with their main company including Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Giselle, and others. She spent her summers training with the Miami City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. Victoria graduated with degrees in both dance and journalism from New York University in 2017. While there, she had the opportunity to perform works by Trisha Brown, Stefanie Batten Bland, Giada Ferrone, Cherylyn Lavagnino, Jeremy Nelson, and others. She performed in the Santa Fe Opera’s production of Die Fledermaus with choreography by Seán Curran and was also part of the domestic and international tours of “Isadora” starring Natalia Osipova with choreography from Vladimir Varnava. Victoria continues to take class, write, perform, and teach.
