This message lays a context for us to understand the wrath and mercy of God in light of the coming Day of God. It is a call to repentance in light of the patience of God, while embracing Peters call to be found 'looking for the Day of God' with expectation, rather than being exploited by false teachers, denying the Lord, and finding yourself under wrath in that Day. In light of the Day of the Lord being near, patient enduring faith in God, his Messiah, and the restoration of all things is the foundation of the Church’s mission in this age. However, in context to the Day of the Lord the church is also called to faithfully witness to Jesus and the judgment to come. This witness is essentially amnestic in nature, representing the kindness and longsuffering of the Lord toward the wicked. This amnestic witness is most perfectly expressed in martyrdom, which the church must embrace wholeheartedly at the end of the age as wickedness finds full expression. The Scriptures clearly declare that global martyrdom is the glorious destiny of the end-time church. This teaching unlocks some of the truths from Elijah's stand against the prophets of Baal on top of Mount Carmel. FEEDBACK: http://danieltrainingnetwork.org/god-contest EMAIL: [email protected] FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/danieltrainingnetwork TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/dtnetworking

This seeks to explain the person of Christ and his glorious form in the Old and New Testament Scriptures. Centered upon a word study of "glory" in the Hebrew, a breakdown of several passages produces a surprising exegesis and fluidity with the glory of Jesus before and after His incarnation, leading us to His final glorification on the Cross. This teaching is centered around the Biblical truth and importance of worshiping Jesus as YHWH, the ancient God of Israel. When the idea of "Jesus" can be so ambiguous in our minds today, this teaching seeks to return to the Biblical idea of the identity of Jesus, not just as a man, or our Savior, but as YHWH Himself––The Holy one of Israel and the one who created the heavens and the earth! (The usage of the term deutero-Isaiah in this teaching is not meant to reflect the opinion of "two authors," but simply the section of the book of Isaiah which is commonly referred to in this way; chapters 40-55.)
