Daredevil: Born Again Introduces a Future Captain America

Episode 6 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 featured the highly anticipated return of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, but it also introduced a massive Marvel Comics easter egg. The episode reveals that Jessica is living a secluded, suburban life raising a toddler named Danielle. Fans of the comics know that Danielle "Dani" Cage is the daughter of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. More importantly, in the alternate future timeline of the comics, an adult Danielle inherits her parents' super-strength and bulletproof skin to become the new Captain America.
