Darkness Radio presents Terror Town, USA: The Untold Story of Joliet's Notorious Serial Killer with John Ferak

The summer of 1983 was like no other for Joliet, Ill., a hard-working, rough-and-tough blue-collar industrial city an hour’s drive southwest of Chicago. This was one of the hottest summers on record for Joliet, and an elusive serial-killing madman kept piling up the body count as he showed no signs of being caught.

One overnight killing spree claimed five victims, including members of the Will County Sheriff’s Office. The following month brought more bloodshed: a quadruple murder inside a small Joliet shop best known for its pottery classes. Authorities linked the so-called stone-cold killing machine to a chilling count of 14 homicides, plus three women who miraculously survived their agonizing encounters.

Darkness Radio presents Time-Slips: Journeys into the Past and the Future with Rodney Davies

Dave & Tim tumble through time with their guest Rodney Davies. The idea of time travel, of venturing into the past and the future, is both fascinating and intriguing, and it has captured the imagination of many. But is it possible and has it ever been achieved? The answer to both questions is yes, and the effect of time travel upon human development has been profound. In this remarkable book Rodney Davies discusses the phenomenon of time and its enigmatic nature, and relates the amazing experiences of those who have found themselves, often unaccountably, in either yesterday or tomorrow. Of these, some have returned to relate their adventures, while others have left notice of their strange exploits in the form of objects fossilized in solid rock, or as footprints impressed thereon. The author suggests that many of the ancient deities were in fact time travelers, who, having discovered the technique of time-slipping, went back to take practical skills and moral guidance to earlier peoples, but who found that their self-seeking benevolence created unanticipated problems for themselves.

Darkness Radio presents The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It with Jeff Belanger

Today we take an interesting look in the actual case that inspired the hit horror movie The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It with our long time friend Jeff Belanger.  Jeff grew up around Ed & Lorraine Warren and has a unique insight into their cases, lives and shines some light on the very strange case of Arne Johnson.

Was the Devil truly to blame for the crime of murder or was it one bad night of drinking and flared tempers that ended a mans life?  Jeff walks us through the story of a claim of possession, an exorcism gone wrong, and the violent, bloody aftermath that captured the attention of the world in a criminal case where the defense would be, not one of insanity, but demonic possession.

See the hit new movie in theaters and on-demand now.
