Hunter Biden plans to change his not guilty plea in his federal tax case, his defense attorney said Thursday just as jury selection was set to begin. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell announced Hunter Biden's plans to change his previous plea, but did not provide further details. Four people were killed and nine others were wounded after a 14-year-old student opened fire Wednesday at Apalachee High School in northern Georgia, authorities said. More than a year ago, tips about online posts threatening a school shooting led Georgia police to interview a 13-year-old boy, but investigators didn't have enough evidence for an arrest. Karl Schmae, retired FBI supervisor, joins D2 to share his insight.  

Teenagers are behind a rash of gang related shootings, which begs the question: should Utah toughen up laws to prosecute adults who recruit children to commit gang related shootings and other crimes? Rep. Ryan Wilcox introduced legislation with the goal of curbing this trend. Sim Gill, Salt Lake County District Attorney, joins the show to talk about the expected impact of this legislation and if he thinks it's the best way to address this issue.
