D2 speaks with the KSL Movie show hosts Andy Farnsworth and Steve Salles, for this week's movie of the week: "Reagan" A drama based on the life of Ronald Reagan, from his childhood to his time in the oval office. Big 12 football kicks off this week, which means KSL's sports show "First & 12" is returning for their second year with coverage of the big 12 season, featuring the Utah Utes, and BYU Cougs. Co-Host of "First and 12" Alex Kirry joins the show to preview the start of Big 12 football.  

A work retreat turned perilous last week after a Colorado man was left stranded on a mountain. His colleagues left him to try to summit alone and he got lost coming down, rescuers say. The man endured a night alone on the mountain and was only found after a massive search. Dave and Deb ask listeners if they are for or against team-bonding experiences, and take calls.

Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday gave her first sit-down interview since she became the Democratic presidential nominee, touching on her agenda for 2025, and responding to questions regarding policy switches, but leaving gaps in actual policy plans if she makes it to the White House. KSL at Night Host and political insider, Adam Gardiner joins D2 with his insight on Harris's performance in the interview, and what he thinks comes next.  

One of the longer running continuous rivalries in Utah high school football won't be played this year. Timpview High School announced late Thursday night that its annual rivalry game with Provo High had been canceled. A letter to parents from Provo School District superintendent Wendy Dau mentioned social media posts that "threatened Provo High coaches, players and their families." Caleb Price, Director of Communications for Provo School District joins D2 to give insight into what led up to the decision, and Dave and Deb take calls asking, "play the game without the fans?"
