Celeste Maloy and opponent Colby Jenkins are still entangled in a nail biting race for the Congressional District 2 seat. The largest share of uncounted ballots in the 2nd District race appears to be in Washington County, which still has to process 1,765 votes and work through the cure list, which entails reaching out to over 700 voters about ballots with signatures that do not match those on record. Cox says he will do everything he can to fight proposed power rate increases Rocky Mountain Power, which supplies electricity to four-fifths of Utah, is asking the state for a whopping 30.6% increase in power rates, which would raise the average customer’s bill by more than $24 a month in the next 18 months.
