Incumbent Rep. Celeste Maloy and opponent Colby Jenkins are still entangled in a nail biting race for the Congressional District 2 seat. The largest share of uncounted ballots in the 2nd District race appears to be in Washington County, which still has to process 1,765 votes and work through the cure list, which entails reaching out to over 700 voters about ballots with signatures that do not match those on record. The counting will likely continue into next week. Could we see a recount in the race? Dave and Taylor go over the timeline.  

Rocky Mountain Power, which supplies electricity to four-fifths of Utah, is asking the state for a whopping 30.6% increase in power rates, which would raise the average customer’s bill by more than $24 a month in the next 18 months. Governor Spencer Cox responded in a tweet Sunday, saying he would "do everything in his power to make sure a rate increase of that magnitude never sees the light of day." Adam Gardiner, co-founder of Utah’s Aerospace and Defense Association, ad KSL at Night Host, gives his input on the rate hike and conflict.

A Texas hospital could be the first in the United States to use a technology that allows doctors to visit patients via hologram. The facility recently installed a 3D system that projects a life-sized hologram of a doctor so that they can perform real-time consults with patients at a clinic 30 miles away.
