It's been just over a year since the fire in sugarhouse destroyed an apartment complex under construction causing many issues in the area and If you've driven through sugarhouse lately perpetual road construction zone -- drivers are sick of waiting in orange cone zones, businesses are impacted too..customers are turned off by navigating constant construction. Dave and Debbie speak with SLC Council Memeber Sarah Young about how buisnesses have been impacted since the fires and construciton.

Utah has a Zero Fatalities campaign, but we just learned from the Deseret News that Utah last lost 232 people to crashes. Dave and Debbie discuss this shocking number and what more could be done to prevent traffic-related deaths. 

Auto-pedestrian accidents are a big issue in Utah...So far there have been 32 fatal auto-pedestrian crashes on Utah's roads in 2023.  That's just 12 less than this time last year according to the SLC PD. Ben Wood, Board Member of Sweet Streets joins the show. 

A man was shot and killed in West Bountiful parking lot; suspect in custody after standoff. The woman who reported the incident to police identified the suspected shooter as her estranged husband. A warrant was later obtained for the woman's vehicle where police located a tracking device on her vehicle that she was unaware had been placed there. KSL Legal Analyst Greg Skordas joins the show to discuss who is able to put tracking devices on cars, when it is legal, and when it is not. 

Debbie has always said that it costs money to work and have a job. Dave and Debbie break down just how much it costs to fully return to the office when it comes to travel, clothing, food, supplies, etc.
