Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this little guy is? He’s John Francis Strachey before he became songwriter Jack Strachey, probably best known for co-writing “These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You)” You’ll hear a recording of that, plus a couple of Strachey’s light music pieces in the second segment of this week’s show. We’ll also be celebrating Dave Franklin’s birthday. In other segments, we’ll have a vocabulary lesson, take a ride on the merry-go-round and jump out of the fire and into the frying pan! There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.
