On the Saturday there was be a staging of "Soup" in the Firkin Crane. Soup is a Live art physical theatre show which explores grief. Autism Dogs Ireland is a Cork based charity and Aileen on top of having children has taken on the task of training two dogs. It's a very important job as they can make a significant difference to the users. This means matching the right dog to the right owner. Sometimes training the dogs can take up to 2 years. John from UCC and military historian Gerry White are both authors of The Battle for Cork The Burning of Cork respectively and both were involved in assisting the presenting of a new exhibition – open now – at St Peter’s North Main Street on the ‘battle for Cork’ of 1922 as seen through the lens of WD Hogan.
