What if we found a video showing Jarran Reed doing everything that's claimed in the police report? What if we knew that all of the allegations against him were 100 percent true? Would he still be a member of this Seahawk team? Would they find an excuse to keep a guy with 10 1/2 sacks, or would they stand by their previous statements about domestic violence and let him go? On a lighter note, it's the first edition of Dick and Dave in the Locker Room this year as Softy catches up with Tedric Thompson and Dick talks with tight end Will Dissly. Softy finds the idea of the 10-game NFL season interesting. It would add a level of strategy. Football season is finally almost here. Today, Softy and Dick Fain are in Los Angeles broadcasting live for Pac-12 Media Day. We'll have interviews all day long from Pac-12 players and coaches, and Larry Scott will even drop by. We start off with the Dawgs and center Mick Harris who talks about how he's getting prepared for the 2019 season, his leadership role, and transitioning from working with Jake Browning to a new quarterback. Coach Chris Petersen then steps in to discuss this upcoming season. So... when are we going to get the announcement on the starting quarterback? Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert finishes off the hour. Yes, unfortunately for Dawg fans, he's still here.

It's Dick and Dave's second hour from Pac-12 Media Day in Los Angeles with a continued cavalcade of guests from around the Pac-12. Stanford head coach David Shaw explains why he's optimistic about the Pac-12, and his Stanford team specifically. Second-year Oregon coach Mario Cristobal keeps the Oregon - Washington rivalry alive, plus his early impressions of Cale Millen and more. Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott talks about all that's happening in the Pac-12 in a time of reflection; including a move to Las Vegas in 2020, and more transparency coming to the conference's officiating. Softy and Dick are live from Jefferson Park Golf Course on Beacon Hill as we celebrate public golf courses in Seattle amidst talk of doing away with the courses in favor of affordable housing. Jarran Reed's suspension adds to some question marks surrounding the Seahawks defense this season, so how concerned are you heading into the 2019 season? Jay Turner, founder of Jeffmont, explains why the golf courses in the city need to stay right where they are.

After two weeks off, Softy is back and ready for football season. Just in time for his return, the big story of the day, Jarran Reed has been suspended for six games by the NFL stemming from an incident that took place in April of 2017. Nobody knows exactly what happened, but if he's innocent, the best thing for Reed to do would be to come out and tell his side of the story. The league has suspended Reed, but Tyreke Hill has gotten nothing for his incident. There just doesn't seem to be any consistency in how the league handles these types of incidents. Joining us to discuss the Jarran Reed situation, and a lot more news from around the NFL is Mike Sando, who can now re-join our roster of guests thanks to his association with The Athletic. While Softy was away, the new Seattle hockey team announced Ron Francis as the new GM. We're feeling pretty good about the hire if for no other reason than Tod Leiweke selected him. Tod has done nothing but succeed everywhere he's gone, and in multiple sports. It's clear that Francis is going to get whatever it is he needs to win once this hockey team gets going. Wednesday is Pac-12 Media Day as we take another step toward football season. Softy and Dick will be in LA all day Wednesday. In the meantime, we're joined by Rick Neuheisel to talk some Husky and Pac-12 football. We get his thoughts on Jacob Eason, and what he expects to see from Justin Herbert and Oregon this season.
