It's Christmas Week and Softy and Dick Fain have a few days off. Terry Blount is sitting in with Jed Collins. The Seahawks beat the Chiefs Sunday night and are now definitely in the playoffs. They don't know who they'll face yet, but odds are it'll be Dallas. First though, they've got to finish out the regular season with a game against the hapless Cardinals. Is there any chance they lose this game? The Athletic's Michael-Sean Dugar answers that question, talks about Pete Carroll's contract, and more. Baker Mayfield is in the middle of more controversy; this time for staring down his former coach, Hue Jackson. Jed also explains why this year's Saints team is better than the Saints team that won the Super Bowl.

Terry asks Twitter, who is the Seahawks MVP this season, and who was the player that surprised you? Pete Carroll speaks to the press this afternoon. We've got all the audio. One of the things he discussed was the idea of sitting players this weekend and why he's not a fan of it. Jed Collins doesn't agree. This afternoon the ServPro First Responders Bowl was canceled, the first time ever this has happened to a bowl game. The fact that they allowed this to happen shows how little it actually means to make a bowl.

So much is being made about the Kansas City game, and what the Hawks will need to do to get a win. The offense thought, is set up perfectly as it is. Kansas City's offense can't stop the run. If you're the Hawks, keep doing what you're doing, run the ball, keep Mahomes off the field. We don't want to have to worry about winning next Sunday against the Cardinals. Let's get the win now and be done with it. Bob Rondeau will be going to the Rose Bowl for the first time as a spectator. He waxes poetic about the game, shares his favorite memories, and more. As the game draws nearer, it's time to have the conversation about Jake Browning's legacy on Montlake. How will he be remembered if he wins this game, and how will he be remembered if he doesn't?
