If the M's play just .500 ball the rest of the way, the Angels would have to play 17 games over .500 to catch them. The M's start their road trip against the Yankees today and it's obviously going to be a difficult few days playing the next six games at Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. The daunting four-game series against the Red Sox is over and the M's got through it, splitting it with Boston two games a piece.
