  • Softy and Dick H1 - Coach Carroll's Monday presser / The Seahawks' 2nd half / Fact or Fiction: Packers / Opponent Audio Recap: Falcons
Each Monday at 3pm Coach Pete Carroll addresses the media, discussing the previous day's game. This week: Injury updates including Justin Britt, and what happened in the second half among other topics. Some fans, obviously, are a little frustrated after the Hawks, leading 24-0 at the half, gave up 20 in the second half, winning only by a touchdown but this just proves what we already knew; the team has some flaws. That said, they were 53-0 when leading by more than 4 at the half, and now they're 54-0. The Packers have begun to heat up, and they're headed to LA to take on the not-great Chargers. It should be an easy win, Cheeseheads -3 is the Fact or Fiction pick. Seahawks win, which means it's time for the Opponent Audio Recap. Hear what the game sounded like on 92.9 The Game in Atlanta, and the Falcons Radio Network with Wes Durham and Dave Archer.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - What does it mean for this season? / Joel Klatt on college football / Textimonials / Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down
This Seahawk team is clearly missing some pieces. We knew that before yesterday, and that second half made it even more clear. Without Britt, we're in need of a center, we need someone else at the tight end position, just to name two. Can we see more from what the team has now though. Can we expect players like Ansah to make a bigger impact? How much of what we saw yesterday reflects what we can expect from the rest of this season? It was a crazy weekend in college football with three top ten teams falling out, and Oregon and Utah both making their cases for a Final Four. Joel Klatt looks at everythign happening in college football as the Dawgs get ready to try to take down the surging Utes on Saturday. Textimonials react to the Seahawks second half and more at 49451 via the Heritage Distilling Text Line. On Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down: Thumbs up to Rashaad Penny, and World Series flashers; thumbs down to the overreacting Seahawks fans, and Oregon celebrating a twopoint win over an unranked opponent at home.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Managing Chris Carson's carries / To trade or not to trade? / Fact or Fiction: Notre Dame / KJ Wright
We expected that we'd see a drop in Chris Carson's carries this year, with Rashaad Penny, if not someone else, picking up the slack. So far, Carson has been great, but his number of carries hasn't fallen back, and with his injury history, we're going to need to be careful heading into December and January. We really need to see more from Penny. Should the Hawks try to make a big trade before next week's deadline? That depends on if you think they're one player away form competing, but they're not the only one in contention this year in the NFC. If a big trade won't make you the consensus favorite coming out of the conference, is it worth it? Softy takes Notre Dame over Michigan on Fact or Fiction. Dick catches up with KJ Wright.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Pete Carroll prepping for Atlanta / Fun with Audio - Expensive hamburger, double Mike Leach / Textimonials
Pete Carroll spoke earlier as he gets the team ready for the game in Atlanta. The Falcons are bad. There's no question about that, and the Hawks should win. Obviously the team still needs to stay focused and not look past this game. On Fun with Audio, Michael Bennett talks about his suspension, Marshawn Lynch eats an expensive burger, we've got two clips from Mike Leach, and more. What happens first; a Stanley Cup victory in Seattle, National Championship by the Dawgs, or a World Series in Seattle? Textimonials weigh in at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - John Michaels on the Falcons / Bob Rondeau talks Dawgs / Stats are for Losers / Dixon Percentage Index
So are the Atlanta Falcons really that bad? For an inside look, we go to John Michaels in Atlanta. Bob Rondeau reacts to the ecstasy and the agony of the gameagainst Oregon, what Bush Hamdan needs to show Chris Petersen, and how to rally the troops after the loss. Stats are for Losers, interesting stats you can use to impress your buddies (or not) this weekend every Friday at 5:45. Finally, we get Dixon's thoughts on this Sunday's game against Atlanta. He was wrong last Sunday, but was perfect before that.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Astros 0-2: Karma? / Pete Carroll: Hall of Fame material? / Jacob Hollister & DJ Fluker / Fact or Fiction / Lee Sterling
The Houston Astros have fired assistant GM Brandon Taubman after comments he reportedly made last week despite the team's original claim that there was nothing ot see here. The team's 0-2 start in the World Series has been called "karma" for the incident but that hardly seems fair as the Astros players and fans had absolutely nothing to do with it. More than anything, we're just seeing World Series Verlander. Has Pete Carroll done enough to get himself into the Hall of Fame? What if he wins another championship? How far away is he? On Dick and Dave in the Locker Room, we check in with Jacob Hollister and D. J. Fluker. Road dogs have come out on top this year, and the trend will continue says Dick, taking the Chargers on Fact or Fiction. Lee Sterling makes his picks for the Hawks game, Ducks and Cougs, and more.

Today, Coach talks with current Atlanta Falcons head coach, and former Seahawks defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn. Another Husky appears to be jumping into the transfer portal. This time, Trey Lowe. We name this week's fantasy pick in the Thursday Night game on Who's Your Bud? courtesy of Bud Light Platinum.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - What do you want to do? / Fact or Fiction: Ducks -14 / Tre Flowers and Mike Hopkins
There's a lot of frustration from Husky fans after the Oregon loss, and it's understandable to some extent. This hasn't been the season we'd hoped for, and at this point almost every major goal this team had is out of reach. Still, what do you want to do? Chris Petersen has had tremendous success with the program, and continues to recruit high-level guys. Basically every team in the Pac-12 would trade their coach for Petersen in a heartbeat sans maybe ...maybe Utah and Stanford. Softy says Oregon will mop the floor with WSU. The Ducks -14 is the Fact or Fiction pick. On Dick and Dave in the Locker Room, we catch up with Tre Flowers and Mike Hopkins.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Seahawks: Any concern at all against Atlanta? / Petros Papadakis: Barking idiots / Textimonials
Is there any concern at all about the Seahawks against the Falcons on Sunday? Of course there's always a chance, but the Hawks are 29-7 after a loss in the Russell Wilson era, and the Falcons just aren't good. Petros Papadakis weighs in on the Husky loss on Saturday and the overall bad weekend for the Pac-12 conference, plus a message to the barking idiots. Textimonals react to the Petros interview and more.
