  • Softy and Dick H1 - Pete Carroll's Monday media meeting / Which loss is worse? / Fact or Fiction: Rams / What if...?
Pete Carroll addresses the media as he does every Monday at 3pm, discussing yesterday's loss to Baltimore. Obviously, it wasn't a great weekend for football fans around here, but which loss is worse? The Huskies weren't necessarily expected to win that game, but had a decent chance, and with the loss, several goals for the season are now out of reach, including a potential Final Four appearance, a Rose Bowl appearance, and even a shot at the Pac-12 Championship. The Hawks on the other hand, probably should have won that game on paper, but came up way short, with lots of issues including Russell Wilson looking the worst he has all year. Softy is sticking with the Rams who gave him his only Fact or Fiction win last week. They'll crush the Bengals this weekend. Dick wonders, what if just a couple of lays had gone differently on Saturday? Would the Huskies have their sixth win?

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Time to panic? ...Probably not / Joel Klatt on the Dawgs, & more / Textimonials / Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down
The Hawks lost a game they weren't expected to lose yesterday, but is it time to panic? No, probably not. They're still 5-2, in a great spot for a wild card, and not far behind the Niners whose schedule gets a lot harder going forward. Nonetheless, there are things that aren't going as planned. The defense needs to take a big step forward. Also, they're 2-2 at home in a stadium that's known for creating a big home field advantage. Joel Klatt talks about the Husky loss, and other happenings around college football. Textimonials react to a difficult football weekend. It's the best, and the worst of the weekend on Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Impartial observers' Ducks and Dawgs takes / Jimmy Lake / Fact or Fiction: Bears -4 / Why do we hate them?
We've talked a ton about this huge game tomorrow, and although the Ducks are favored, we're feeling like the Huskies at least have a really good chance of taking this game at home, but maybe we're just homers. We give impartial observers, fans of other teams with no dog in this fight a chance to weigh in. Are we off base? Softy catches up with Jimmy Lake to find out what he saw from the Husky defense in the Arizona game, and what to expect tomorrow at Husky Stadium. Bridgewater has led the Saints to win after win, but that all ends against Chicago. Softy says take the Bears minus the points on Fact or Fiction. We've got plenty or rivals as Dawg fans, most notably the Cougars, but the have the most vicious hatred for Ducks fans, but what makes us hate them so much?

  • Softy and Dick H3 - The case gets stronger / Bob Rondeau talks Washington and Oregon / Stats are for Losers / DPI

Dixon makes his prediction for the Hawks and Ravens.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Rivalry heating up: Never back the Pac / Trey Adams and Jamarco Jones / Fact or Fiction: Michigan / Lee Sterling's picks
In an attempt to stoke the flames of the Northwest rivalry, the Pac-12 Network tweeted out a video of Kenny Wheaton scoring against Washington 25 years ago. Obviously Oregon fans were stoked, but Softy, not so much. This right here, is exactly why Softy will never "back the Pac" under any circumstance, even if it ultimately helps the Dawgs. Dick is all in on rooting for Oregon, if, and only if, a Duck win helps the Dawgs in some way. Otherwise, watching Oregon lose in a big game is one of the greatest joys as a Husky fan outside of an actual Washington game. We check in with Trey Adams and Jamarco Jones on Dick and Dave in the Locker Room. On Fact or Fiction: Dick takes Michigan plus the points. Who does Paramount Sports handicapper Lee Sterling have in the Washington and Oregon and Hawks and Ravens games? He reveals his picks in those games, and more from around the NFL and college football.
