Dave 'Softy' Mahler and Dick Fain

Eric Dickerson has slammed Mike Leach for "talking down" James Williams who came out of school a year early. Williams also responded, taking shots at Leach although he took it down quickly. Not a great look for the Cougs. Kaleb McGary was picked by the Falcons in the first round this past weekend. He describes what it was like to get that call, and what this whole weekend meant to the Dawgs. News over the weekend broke that Doug Baldwin might be done playing due to health concerns. We knew things weren't going well health-wise but didn't know how serious they were. Obviously, if he's gone, it's going to leave a huge whole in the receiver corps. So, are any of the new guys able to replace him, or is there anyone available now who is worth grabbing?

Our coverage of the 2019 NFL Draft Day 2 is underway from the VMAC in Renton. We recap yesterday's picks, including the Hawks' pick of L.J. Collier at #29, and perhaps more importantly, look ahead to the Hawks' picks today, and later on in the draft. We're also joined by Washington defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake, discussing his guys, Taylor Rapp, Byron Murphy, and BBK, in the draft.

Round 2 of the 2019 draft is now underway as our coverage with Hugh Millen and Cliff Avril continues. The first pick today is a local guy; Washington's Byron Murphy is taken at pick 33 by the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks, unsurprisingly, traded out of the 37th pick to the Panthers for picks 47 and 77.

Cliff Avril steps away, and Tony Softli takes over his spot as our 2019 NFL Draft coverage on Day 2 continues from the VMAC. This hour, we're covering picks 42 through 51The Seahawks do in fact use their pick at 47 and take Marquise Blair, safety out of Utah.

It's the final hour of coverage with Softy and Dick, although our coverage continues all night long on 950 KJR. This hour, we focus on picks 52-71, including Husky tight end Drew Sample heading to the Bengals, and Taylor Rapp to the Rams. The Seahawks actually trade up to #64 to take Hugh's guy, D.K. Metcalf. Let the celebration begin!
