Jason Puckett made comments earlier today about Paxton Lynch, and quarterbacks in general needing to throw at rookie camp. He joins the show to explain what he said. With Yankoff leaving and Sirmon staying, we're going to spend the next four years playing Did They Pick The Right Guy, just as we have with Browning and Rypien.

Softy and Dick are live from the VMAC on the first day of rookie minicamp. We have heard about these guys for the last week (the drafted players anyway), now it's time to see what they can do. Of course all eyes are on DK Metcalf who looks impressive thus far. How confident are we in the Hawks outside of receivers and edge rushers? Do the Hawks think they can compete for a championship this year? One amazing stat, this is Pete Carroll's tenth year with the Hawks. In 18 years in total as a head coach he's had an above .55 record 15 times. Combine that with Chris Petersen, and that's 31 out of 35 seasons above .500. We've never seen a coaching tandem like that before in Seattle. Speaking of Pete Carroll, he drops by to talk all things Seahawks, including his thoughts on the new guys at minicamp, Doug Baldwin, and a whole lot more.

The coverage of DK Metcalf has kind of overshadowed the Hawks' first-round draft pick, LJ Collier, but he had a chance to spend a few minutes talking with the press today. Today was our first chance to check out D. K. Metcalf, and obviously one day of practice doesn't tell us much, but he looked great. Check out the size of his Met-calves...

Tomorrow will be our first time we have an opportunity to see D. K. Metcalf, and naturally everyone's pretty pumped because as of right now, it seems like he might have the best chance out o fall of the Hawks' picks to become a superstar, however he's also got the chance to fall well below expectations, much more than LJ Collier who was picked above him. Metcalf is just one of the new players the Hawks have brought in to prop up the receiver corps. How confident are you in the receivers, and the edge rushers at this point without Clark? Softy identifies three guys on the edge, and at least one of them needs to pop. The Pac-12 will move to a 20-game schedule in basketball starting in 2020-2021. We'll see how that impacts their non-conference scheduling. Fans in Denver have gone too far, way too far when heckling Enes Kanter. At some point, it'll be great to see a player stop the game and demand these guys get kicked out. Put them on TV and embarrass them in front of the entire world.
