  • Softy and Dick H3 - Seth Everett on the M's: Maybe Bumgarner? / Fun with Audio / The story of Moe Berg / Baseball's Heritage Pre-Game Show
Seth Everett joins the show, commenting briefly on marking ten years without the Sonics. The real reason he's on the show though is to talk some Mariners baseball. No doubt the team is looking at another arm before the trade deadline, and maybe the Giants are willing to give up Madison Bumgarner? Today's Fun with Audio, with all the best sports sound you might have missed including Victoria Smith taking gold at the Special Olympics, LaVar Ball explains why he'll get along fine with LeBron, a minor league baseball broadcaster's computer is smashed by a ball during a game, and more. Yesterday, Dick's father told him a story he'd never heard, the story of Moe Berg. It's such a great piece of baseball history that Dick decided to share it on air. Zunino and Haniger are both out tonight. We'll tell you who IS in the lineup, and get Scott Servais' comments on Baseball's Heritage Pre-Game Show.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Jacson Bevens co-hosts / Fixing the flopping problem / Follow-up File / Are they exceptional? / Most missed former Hawk
With Softy still out on vacation, Jacson Bevens steps in to co-host today's show. Today's match between England and Colombia had everything a soccer fan could want, and it's pretty incredible to think that around the world there were probably a billion people watching the same thing we were watching. There's still a disconnect here in the US though, and some of it probably has to do with flopping. This is something that probably needs to be addressed if soccer is to ever take off here, but the rest of the world doesn't seem too concerned with it. From the follow-up file, Dick clarifies what happened to competitive eater Kobayashi, and golfer Joel Dahmen, guest on yesterday's program gets support for his claim that Sung Kang cheated. The Mariners are good. That's pretty well established at this point. You don't make it to 23 games over .500 if you aren't, but are they exceptional? Aside from Diaz as a closer, do they really stand out in any way? It's something to think about when comparing them to teams like the Yankees and Red Sox. Ian Furness asked Twitter to name their most missed now-former Seahawk player and Kam ran away with the poll overwhelmingly. Is this a big surprise? Dick and Jacson debate how to handle Earl Thomas moving forward.

We set the lineups and here from Scott Servais on Baseball's Heritage Pre-Game Show.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Donald Watts co-hosting / LeBron to the Lakers / Turning back the clock / Joel Dahmen on being paired with Tiger
Softy continues his long vacation. Donald Watts joins Dick for today's show. Free agency officially began yesterday and, surprise surprise, LeBron is headed to LA. Donald Watts gives a few thoughts on the LeBron move and other moves around the league. The M's swept the Royals and have won seven in a row. They ended the month at 53-31. On June 5, we asked listeners to tell us where they thought the team would be at the end of June. We play back a few of them for your enjoyment. As optimistic as we thought they were, the M's still managed to beat most people's expectations. Joel Dahmen, a Northwest native talks about being paired with Tiger Woods at the QuickenLoans National, and accusing Sung Kang of cheating.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Jordan Spieth on Special Olympics and his foundation / Bill Krueger's weekly look at the M's / Textimonials
Dick caught up with Jordan Spieth yesterday at the opening ceremoney of the USA Games. Spieth discussed his involvement with Special Olympics, his foundation, and getting ready for The Open. The Mariners are only a half-game back of the Astros, but can they really keep pace with them the rest of the season? Bill Krueger talks about what needs to happen for the team to win the division, taking his weekly in-depth look at the Mariners. Textimonials continue to weigh in on the red hot Mariners.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Brian Schmetzer's Sounders update / Hey, Did You Hear That? / Cousins to the Warriors / 10 years without the NBA
The Sounders couldn't get it done against rival Portland over the weekend. Head coach Brian Schmetzer is frustrated but still takes time to join the show to discuss the match, when we might see Ruidiaz, and his thoughts on some of the recent World Cup Matches. With free agency underway, there are tons of great sound bytes from around the sports world. We run through the best of them on Hey, Did You Hear That? Tectonic shifts continue in the NBA as DeMarcus Cousins signs a one-year deal with the Warriors. It's become even more apparent that the NBA is a top-heavy league with a few teams picking up all of the talent. It's been ten years since the Sonics left town. Dick feels the NBA has gotten too much criticism by fans who don't want to have to place blame on the city. The ever-important question though, will we ever get a team back?

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Terry Blount guest hosts / Mariners return home to face the Royals / Corey Brock on the M's / Is Dick too harsh?
After what could be considered a successful road trip all things considered, the M's are back at home tonight to face the Royals, with a record of 51-31, 20 games above .500. We've said it before, but did anyone expect the team to be here at the end of June. Just winning the wild card would be kind of a disappointment at this point. This team feels a lot like the 2012 Seahawks or the 1977-78 Sonics, the biggest difference is that there isn't the feeling that they can maintain. for years to come. Corey Brock, on his way back from Baltimore, joins us as he does every Friday to talk a little Mariners baseball. Dick wants to know if Felix's performance has been tied to how he's been taking care of his body. Is he being harsh for expecting athletes being paid millions of dollars per year to stay in top physical condition?

Royals color commentator and for MLB player Rex Hudler talks about this weekend's series against the Mariners, the Luke Heimlich story, and more. Textimonials continue to weigh in on the M's as we near the end of June.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Does Luke Heimlich deserve a chance? / Hey, Did You Hear That? / Terry's thoughts on Frank Clark / Pre-Game Show

All the audio you might have missed on Hey, Did You Hear That? We get Terry's expert opinion on the worth of Frank Clark. Could he really be worth over $75 million? The Mariners are back home after a ten-game road trip. We tell you everything you need to know about tonight's game on Baseball's Heritage Pre-Game Show.
