It was a blow, both to our productivity and to the workers own economic survival. But this economic lock-down was overcome in large measure by the ingenuity of American Business and Labor. As many simply took to the internet to continue their work at home.

A revolution was born.

And it's not a bad way for us to look at our current situation. As we recover from what I believe is the biggest external shock that our economy has suffered since World War II.

Overnight, Reuters is reporting that the Biden Administration, has taken an all new approach to taxing multinational companies. Presenting their proposal before the G-7 yesterday, this new proposal would subject the top 100 companies worldwide with a 15% minimum tax on income.

The introduction of the Novel Corona Virus, Covid 19 Vaccine, has been like the introduction of the latest new techno gadget. Like the roll-out of a new smart phone, or the latest app. Complete with mass media advertising, celebrity endorsements, and even door prizes.

But that haphazard approach is just like the one adopted by our Governors and Mayors when they shut down this economy last year.

It is apparent that little effort was spend determining the interaction of the many businesses that make up their economies.
