Day 58: Genesis 26:1-20: When God Says Stay (2025): Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional

Genesis 26 tells the often-overlooked story of Isaac in a season of famine, fear, and frustration. But instead of running to Egypt like his father did, Isaac chooses to stay where God tells him to stay. In doing so, we see that obedience isn’t always flashy—it’s often quiet, difficult, and deeply rooted in trust. This passage reminds us that God’s provision doesn’t always come through escape but often through endurance. The blessing is in the staying, even when it doesn’t make sense.
