We welcome Laquita Abrams to the DWITW podcast this week! On this episode, Laquita shares her heart for those who have experienced domestic violence and how the Lord is using her story. In the second half, she tells of ministry, personal growth, and now being able to go into schools to speak to kids about domestic violence. Laquita wants to see God glorified through her story. In this episode, the verse “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so” (Psalm 107:2) resounds throughout.

Today we welcome one of our own to the podcast, Jordan Atwell, and his wife Jamie! Jordan has been serving the podcast for the last two years doing all the audio editing things for the podcast.

Today Amy Kelly joins us via Skype on the DWITW Podcast! Amy shares how she was ready to fully transition to living in Mexico, but God had another plan for her and her time. She reminds us that “His control is the best control,” and how God gives us everything we need to do what He is calling us to do. In our second chat with Amy, she is still located in Cancun, Mexico and has extended her time there. She shares of her struggle with identity, specifically in the things she does and checking off the boxes and relationships. From Amy’s testimony we see that God is at work in the mess.

For the second time on the DWITW podcast, Daisy Dronen joins us! She shares about working through transitions with a new baby and the hospital she works at closing. She has been focused on decluttering and simplifying her life in many areas to make room to breathe. In our second chat with Daisy she shares of more transitions and changes with her kids, her body and healing in her relationship with the Lord. A truth that Daisy shares that she would tell herself six months ago is that “Actually you’re always in transition. Don’t sit waiting. Reach Out.”

We welcome Hannah Simon to the DWITW Podcast this week! When we first chatted with Hannah she shared about some health issues she was going through and how it was isolating, but she was learning to rely on and be with the Lord in it. In our follow up conversation with Hannah she tells us how her heart is and how her lifestyle has changed because of it. In this season, she is learning how to distinguish the Lord’s voice by daily coming before Him and how to be vulnerable, especially in community.

We give a warm welcome to Emma Carsey this week on the DWITW podcast! On this episode, Emma shares about the need to keep her husband and kids a priority (and in that order!) and how God is sustaining her through grace and by living by the mantra: “Doing less, but being more.”

In our second interview with Emma, she catches us up about how she abandoned the yearly reading plan, but how God has used Hosea to go deep and grow her immensely. She also shares about Nehemiah, our hope + worth + enough-ness in Christ, and putting our phones down.

Today, we welcome our guest, Megan Rund, to the podcast! On this episode, Megan shares about the season of waiting her family is in as her husband has lost his job. She tells of how the Lord prepared her heart and has encouraged her through it, but even more that, it’s all about God and His glory. In our second chat with Megan, she returns with news that her husband is still unemployed, but God has been protecting and providing in surprising ways. Through this, she has learned that because God’s hand has been opened to them that her heart has been changed to loosen her grip and give it back to Him.

Happy 100 episodes of the DWITW podcast! This September, the DWITW podcast celebrated two years on the air! To celebrate and remember God’s faithfulness, we held our first ever live recording event. We began by opening up our Bibles to Joshua 4 and centered our hearts on the concept of stones of remembrance. A panel of three of our sisters graciously shared their personal stones of remembrance and the importance of reflecting on God’s mighty deeds.
