July 25, 2020 Episode 11: Opening Day - A Shit Show
In this episode we talked about Opening Day and how unexciting it was. We recorded this episode right after the first Diamondbacks game. Madison Bumgarner had a great outing, but the stat line is going to show 3 blemishes in the form of earned runs. Chris Paddack, the Padres Opening Day starter had a really strong start and had the Diamondbacks off balance and not barreling up the ball. We went over the starters for the upcoming games for the rest of this 4 game stretch against the Padres. Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals has tested positive for COVID. He practiced with the team in the days before Opening Day against the Yankees. What kind of an impact is that going to have on the team and the opposing team?
The next episode will be recorded after Monday's game. We will recap this series as well as talk about the upcoming series vs the Texas Rangers.
