Happy Holidays everyone!!!! Sorry she's a lil late and we aren't as clever as usual. It's been busy around here!
Next week we'll be watching Upside Down Magic, and I (Kelly) have no idea what to expect so the expectations are very low.

This week's episodes brings you the conclusion to the Descendants trilogy. As far as Disney three-quels go, this one wasn't too bad. We have many questions about Mal's father, but you'll have to listen to hear more about him. That's one secret we'll never tell. You know you love us, XOXO DCOM Girls.
Next week we have ANOTHER musical sequel with Zombies 2. We'll catch ya then!

NOT OUR KIM POSSIBLE!!! Listen, it's no hate to the actors, but this simply wasn't it. We wonder if this was a ploy to start airing reruns of Kim Possible while getting the youths(TM) involved??? But either way, KP does not work as a live action movie... sorry to them!
Next week we're back with another musical: Descendants 3.

Everyone please pay attention to the 2018 following the title of this episode, we are unfortunately not watching the version with our queens Jamie Lee and Lindsay. This version is also a musical?? Enjoy our side tangents about musical styles and then Nickleoden shows being super fucking weird cuz pedophiles.
Anyway, we're watching another classic remake next week with the live action Kim Possible.

Two musicals DCOMs in a row?? This time Elizabeth and I watch Zombies, and talk about how neither of us know much zombie lore. Why are they scared of fire?? Is that how they die?? Someone please explain???
Next week we watch the DCOM Freaky Friday (not to be confused with the FILM Freaky Friday starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis).

Listen, I can't tell you how many times I have typed the phrase Disney knows how to do a sequel, but it never gets less true!! Disney knows how to do a sequel!! This is no exception!
Also do the listeners of this podcast know people from SNL if they didn't watch it growing up?? I (Kelly) only ever saw SNL clips from my brother's Will Ferrel SNL Best Skits DVD, so I really had no awareness of any of the comedians until I started watching it on my own?

This week we watched what we both agree is not a DCOM, but Disney Channel disagrees. Tangled: Before Ever After was basically just a set up for their spin off tangled show, but we appreciate this movie for staying a quick 58 minutes.
Next week we're back with a REAL DCOM, Descendants 2.

This week we watched a classic trope - a switching bodies comedy - in The Swap. If you aren't ready to hear us rant about how adult men have never been teenager girls, that sucks for you.
Next week we're watching Tangled: Before Ever After (which Kelly isn't sure is an actual DCOM, but is included in the Wikipedia DCOM list, so we're watching it anyway).

This week we watched the 2016 DCOM Adventures in Babysitting. We talk about our own experiences babysitting (or not babysitting), and the pressures placed specifically on girls to take care of other people?? Children at that??!
Next week we watch The Swap (and neither of us have any idea what that's about).

Y'all I had to type in the name of this movie up there, and I literally couldn't think of it at first, you'll hear me say it in the pod, and no spoilers: but this DCOM is forgettable. We recorded the episode LAST NIGHT and my brain can't remember the name???
Anyway, next week we'll check back with Adventures in Babysitting.
