The party continues North and finds their way to the College, a broken down and abandoned location of knowledge. They meet an old and creepy halfling hermit. Leaving him quickly, the party continues North. Eventually they meet someone they did not expect to meet. Wrynn. Guarding the entrance to Riarmil's castle. 

After the attack the party rests, only to be attacked in their sleep. Yami the Samurai gets his first taste of an Assassin... with a 70 damage crit. The party struggles against the strength of the assassin's hired hands and fights the battle of chance to break free. After dealing with the threat the party continues North.

The travelers continue their quest North, and action begins immediately. Riarmil the Betrayer shows himself through a magical orb, and commands his followers to attack. They are quickly destroyed, but not before leaving a creeping feeling in the back of the party's neck.

The team finishes their conversation with Elenwynn, and heads out. They travel for 8 short hours north, and just before they stop for the night they are attacked by Umber Hulks. Phyndull begins to feel the power of his new sword, the Moonblade. 

The party finished up on their events, Yami defeated a hulking Goliath in an arm wrestle, and Fendull was unfortunately defeated in an archery competition. The party wasn't given much time to celebrate before a small butler elf told them that his mistress Elenwyn had found an answer to their questions. The team was told that Riarmil has a small house on the northern shore of Elen. If their goal is to kill him, it is there they are likely to find him. 

The festivities begin with a pie eating contest, which Mystique wins. And a chase through the woods, which Oh wins. Each receive a small coin that has been finely crafted into a trophy. 

The party takes some much needed rest, and watches as the forest outside changes into a fairgrounds. The forest of Elen begins the Festival of the Leaf and Thorn.

The party receives powerful items from the Elves and take on the title Avraya, meaning Defender. There were some questions regarding how items worked so we had a Dreamworld combat. In a fight to the death between the multiple characters, they got to see their new items in action. 

The party sits outside the Diamond Palace, most of them of feeble mind, or asleep. Oh gets put on the hot seat, as she tries to figure out what her character would do in her situation. (Her first hot seat in D&D!) Afterwards the team speaks to the leaders of Elen, and faces down a aggravated elf. Despite being exhausted to his breaking point, Fendull accepts the Moonblade, and it receives its markings from those who would swear by his bravery.  

The mostly unconscious team makes a slow and solemn trip back to the rest of Elen. Facing exhaustion or more time spent in the Emerald Enclave, Fendull and Ahru push forward.
