Shirria is a licensed Clinical social worker and the founder of Mental Wellness Clinical CCS, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping millennial moms navigate anxiety, depression, and burnout while balancing their careers, families, and personal growth. As mental health professionals, Dr. Nicole and Shirria give insight on why as moms of color we may be conditioned to experience mom guilt as well as why we set unrealistic expectations on ourselves. They also give tips on how you can bridge the disconnect between other people's expectations and who you want to be as a mother as well as how you can navigate being a career woman and having a family without feeling guilty.
