  • Carving Your Own Path: Astrology, Creativity & Building a Business on Your Terms with Ayu Sutriasa

Ayu didn’t wait for opportunities. She carved her own path after being laid off from her magazine editing career. She turned to astrology, a lifelong passion, and built a business helping multi-passionate creatives use their birth charts to unlock their creativity and trust their own direction.

Ayu is an astrologer + guide for multi-passionate creatives. Formerly a magazine editor, her work centers on empowering creatives to LIVE from their boldest, most honest creative expression (perfectionism be damned) and actually execute + finish the work they care about most. During the few occasions she gets some alone time (MILF probz) she enjoys writing smutty fanfic and making zines about void-walking.

In this episode of Dear Creator, we talk about her journey from editor to astrologer, what she calls "creative exile," using the fifth house to understand how your creativity shows up, and why sometimes the boldest business moves start with spite instead of a plan.

  • The Truth About Pivoting Careers After Motherhood with Georgia Lyons

Georgia helps ambitious women redesign how they work — taking their knowledge, passions, and strengths and turning them into flexible, purpose-driven work on their own terms. She’s spent 14 years building an incredible career in project management, helping lead the regeneration of Christchurch after the devastating 2011 earthquake. She was good at it. She wasn't burnt out. So why did returning to work after having her first baby leave her feeling claustrophobic and unsettled?

In this episode, Georgia shares her honest, unfiltered story of pivoting from project management into becoming a career pivot coach for mothers and why her own career change had nothing to do with hitting rock bottom. We talk about the awareness stage of a pivot, why "good on paper" isn't the same as "feels right," her go-to 3 Ps framework (Possible, Practical, Priority), the ladder of believability, and how to block out the noise when everyone online seems to have it figured out.

If you've ever felt the pull to change your career but couldn't quite name why, this conversation is for you.

  • You Can't Put Grief on Your Content Calendar | Solo Entry 6

I’ve been thinking about timing lately and about the things that happen to use that don’t make sense until much later. Around the same time as my grandpa passed away, my dog also was diagnosed with cancer. Through all of it, I kept running my business — marketing, selling, showing up and doing the entrepreneur thing. Until I wasn’t able to even do that fully anymore. It wasn’t until months later, when everything slowed down, that the grief caught up to me. A dream brought it up to the surface and it made me wonder if I was avoiding it or I just didn’t have the capacity to feel it all at the same time. And did it have to pule up that much before something in me finally broke?

This episode is a reflection on grief, timing, and the quiet cost of staying in motion especially as a creative business owner who’s used to pushing through. Listen for an honest look at why we can’t schedule healing the way we schedule a launch, and why what hasn’t happened for you yet might not mean somethings wrong but might just not be the time.

  • How to Deconstruct the System and Become the Most Feral, Creative Version of Yourself With Giana Cerasia

Giana left corporate when we recorded this episode! She’s worked as a teacher, in government, as a prison, and in corporate. She breaks down why most creative entrepreneurs unknowingly recreate corporate culture in their own businesses, how to identify the conditioning running your decisions, and offers exercises that help you finally build from who you actually are.

Giana Cerasia is a teacher, systems change expert, and anthrophilosopher whose work sits at the intersection of human behavior, power, and transformation. She has spent her career studying systems that shape us — from corporations and institutions to families, relationships, governments, and culture.

Now, she works with the people who power every system we live inside: the humans carrying the stories, grief, power, rage, and possibility that make change either repeat or rupture. Her work blends systems thinking, embodiment, breathwork, and witchy elder-wisdom practices to help people descend beneath the performance of growth and return to the wild, ungovernable, honest intelligence of their own aliveness.

This episode is an invitation to go deeper than any course ever could.

  • I Don't Want To Work... I Want To Build Something | Solo Entry 5

this month felt like a turning point in how i think about motivation and work itself.

in this may reflection, i’m getting honest about something i rarely say out which is how i don’t feel motivated. i don’t really want to work. but i keep showing up anyway… not because of discipline or hustle, but what i’m building feels like something bigger than just a job.

this episode is for the creators and entrepreneurs who are tired of being asked “what keeps you motivated?” when the real answer is messier and more human than that.

it’s about purpose, freedom, fulfillment and about the quiet, sustaining feeling of helping others even on the days you’d rather do anything else.

  • How Taylor Uses Somatic Practices in Her Photography Business and Client Experience

What if booking a photographer to capture special moments also meant walking away with a mindfulness practice that changed your life?

Taylor Sliwa is a lifestyle documentary photographer and certified yoga instructor. Capricorn through and through. She brings a grounded, intentional presence to everything she does. Taylor is passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and fully themselves—while capturing it all in photos that speak volumes.

We talk about how she weaves breath work, meditation, crystals, and somatic rituals into every photo session, and why she believes the experience her clients have in front of the camera matters just as much as the images they take home.

We also get real about life as multi-hyphenate creatives. For example, juggling burnout, building intentional morning and evening routines, staying organized across calendars, and knowing when to rest vs. push forward.

    Topics covered:

    • How somatic healing and breath work enhance the photography experience
    • What "holding space" actually looks like before, during, and after a session
    • Simple daily rituals to regulate your nervous system as a creative entrepreneur
    • Why Taylor separates identity from job titles
    • Working with youth dancers on mindfulness, self-worth, and emotional regulation
    • Burnout prevention, seasonal rhythms, and building a business around your life

  • Your Skills Don't Define Your Self-Worth | Solo Entry 4

Welcome back to Dear Creator!! This is Solo Entry 4 where I reflect on my experiences, ideas, and conversations with friends for the month of April 2026.

A core theme that I talk about is creative identity vs self worth. Specifically how creative entrepreneurs tie their professional roles and skills to who they are but is this why they can experience burnout, pressure or losing a sense of self?

I also talk about the tension between showing up authentically online and the real world constraints like environment, space, and lighting that make content creation harder than social media advice may suggest.

As well as the future vision for Dear Creator!! :)

I hope you enjoy and of course, I'm always down to chat more about these topics if you want to DM me on Instagram or leave comment.

Thank you so much for listening!! xx

What if the thing standing between you and being consistent with your content wasn’t the motivation but the structure of it all?

    • The enough goal method for posting consistently without burning out
