Dear Dog It's Us, Ali & Betsy

Ali & Betsy welcome Comedienne Wendy Liebman and her husband, Writer/Director Jeff Sherman to the show to talk all things dogs; specifically, about their darling but somewhat challenging Jindo mixes named Jemma and Jackson.

We get into everything from what Jeff & Wendy must do to get Jemma & Jackson to come in at night—the dogs love to be outside and what they must do is quite elaborate—to a cautionary tale of how dogs, chocolate and Marijuana don’t mix. We talk about Jeff’s new-found fame as the inspiration for the beloved Mary Poppins song, "A Spoonful of Sugar" and so much more!

In this episode, we talk about giving and getting unsolicited dog advice from strangers - and what to do with that advice. We discuss the pros, cons and controversies of pinch collars, and our intense dislike of extend-a-leashes and the selfish dog owners who use and abuse them. We then dive into the hot-button topic and often-misunderstood difference between Service Dogs, Emotional Support Animals, and Therapy dogs. Welcome to or our inaugural episode of Dear Dog! In this episode meet hosts Ali and Betsy and hear about how each one of us turned into the crazy dog people we are today.
