The Bible says, “He that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD”. Well, in the book of Genesis 29:20-35;30:1-43, the story of Jacob and Rachel speaks to how Jacob favored Rachel. I have said it before, and I will say it again, I don’t want the “Spirit of Leah” because in the Bible, Leah was unloved. However, Jacob loved Rachel so much that he was willing to work for her, for 14 years. Ladies, can you imagine a man loving you so much that he is willing to work for your hand in marriage for as long as it takes?! Now, that kind of love IS Favor! Listen in as I unpack this story. As Promised, I have recorded Part 2. On this episode I attempt to unpack Hosea 1 and 2. I am not a Theologian. However, I do desire to learn more about myself and more in this journey of singleness. The book of Hosea speaks about Hosea and Gomer. Hosea is a prophet and Gomer is a prostitute. What an interesting marriage arrangement! This Episode was unexpected and unscripted but definitely interrupted! So we will call this Part I. My apologies in advance. However, I did Not want to erase what was already recorded. “Intermission” time has ended and it is time to resume my study of wives in the Bible! Today, I am reading out of the book of Ruth in the Message Bible, chapters 2-4. This is the story of Boaz and Ruth. Listen is as I speak on this subject and express my points of view of this particular story in the Bible. I wanted to take a moment to clear up something I said on the “Have You Changed Your Perspective?” Episode (Episode22 Season4). I also wanted to speak more on changing our perspective. Consider this an extension of the “Intermission”. As I was unpacking my perspective on why it is necessary to pray for our enemies, especially the “inner me” within, I discovered something else about myself. If you have been listening to any of my latest episodes, I have been reading scriptures in the Bible and speaking on the different wives in the Bible. However, consider today’s episode as the “Intermission” episode. As I prepare for the next wife in the Bible, I wanted to speak to changing our perspective(s). Today’s episode is extremely transparent, more than most. However, that’s because I wanted to speak on a truth that I hold close to my heart and that is the power to change our perspectives, especially when it comes to hearing/receiving what some may consider “unfavorable news”! Well, some of these questions I believe I must pose to evaluate myself in my NOW season. In my opinion, which is could become subject to change, preparing to become someone’s True Wife is not about the Title. Instead, I believe it is about the content of my character. Therefore, why leave some things to chance? I aspire to study as many wives in the Bible as I can, to glean from their wisdom and to learn from some of their mistakes. Hopefully, in doing so, I will become the very best version of myself. GOD willing, my True Husband will also be able to see the “Good Thing” he has chosen by choosing me to be his wife and vice versa. I desire to see the “Good” man I have chosen to be my True Husband. In the meantime, in between time, listen in as I speak to 1 Samuel 24:1-25:44 on Abigail and Nabal (whose name means ‘Fool’). I hope this Episode encourages Someone! Be encouraged.

And to those of you who have lost your Mother’s and today feels much different for you, may your hearts be filled with the loving memories of your mothers on this Special Day!
