Today, we reached over 17K+ listens in 2 Years, 4 months and 5 Days!!! Y’all are the Real MVP’s and I am truly grateful for your love and support! Today, I am speaking about Sarah in the Bible and how it could look when we choose to take matters into our own hands rather than wait on GOD! So I ask you, “Is Anything Too Hard for GOD”? Today, I wanted to address a certain passage in scripture. It comes from the book of Job (one of my most favorite books in the Bible) Chapter 2 verses 9-13. In this particular scripture, Job’s wife tells him to “…Curse GOD and die”! Yes, she did!!! Listen in as I speak to this very thing and provide my perspective on WHY she would say something so harsh to her husband! And a few suggestions on how to speak to our spouse’s in love. Today, I ask the question, “Who Do You Confide In” after reading the book of Esther in the Bible. Chapter 1:1-22 and Chapter 2:1-4. This passage speaks of Queen Vashti and King Xerxes. However, for those of you who have never heard any of my Episodes, I normally share my journey as a single, divorced mother of six adult children and I have one grandson. However, as of late, I have been on a different path. Although I am still waiting for my true husband to manifest, I find myself studying the wives in the Bible more. After attending a phenomenal Women’s Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on April 21-22. Hosted by Pastor Kellie Agueze, of the Warrior Nation. My cup is still running over. So much so that a sermon was laid on my heart quite early this morning and I saw myself writing out the words. As I shared a snippet with my oldest daughter, she encouraged me to create an episode on my Podcast so that she could listen in after she completed her family affairs this evening. Little did she know, her request was simply a confirmation! Now I am not a degreed Theologist. I am simply a Woman who Loves GOD and Knows that He Loves me More!!! The Day has Finally Arrived! One of my goals for 2023 was to have my Dad, the man who has been a part of my life since I was a toddler. He will remain nameless for obvious reasons. Have you ever watched an interview, a podcast or even a video… Then heard a word and went to go look the definition of that word up? Well, I have! This is where my current Episode stems from. I was watching an interview with Judge Faith Jenkins on yesterday. This is when I heard her say the following words, (I am paraphrasing), “I used to be cynical“. Why did this spark a full on research of the word for me? Now I have heard this word many times before but never have I ever bothered to look it up!!! When we know better, it will hopefully motivate us to Do Better. So yesterday, I researched the word, “cynical”. Why? Because I wanted to know if I too “used to be cynical” or if I still am!!! Listen in as I unpack what this meant to me. Now I am not a counselor, therapist or the like. I am just a divorced, single mother of six beautiful children. I also have one grandson. However, I share my journey of singleness as transparently as possible in hopes that I can help Somebody. Even if it is just One Somebody! I hope this Episode encourages Someone! Be Encouraged.
