What happens when two like minded coaches come together for an open conversation about love and life?
Magic!
Today’s episode I am joined by my sweet friend, Carla Reeves. Carla is a mindset coach for leaders. Carla believes in ditching the illusion that life will be great “someday” in the future and teaches leaders how to wake up their thinking to create and live a juicy, rich, meaningful life, now.
Join us as we have an open conversation about the work we both do, the importance of journaling in our practice and the steps you can take to get out of your own way. Since Carla and I both have a podcast, we thought we would create an episode that we can both share with our listeners.

What if you want to find love - but you struggle about how you feel about yourself?
It can feel paralyzing. It can be a vicious cycle.
You want to find your person.
In order to find someone, you need to put yourself out there.
To put yourself out there, you need to feel good about yourself.

Some women are convinced in order to find their true partner, they must be “whole”. They must love themselves and their lives fully in order to attract the right partner.
In this week’s episode, I address the issue of women who feel “broken” and how changing this perspective can lead you to true love.
I share about my own journey of discovering my brokenness in dating my partner and how instead of pulling away, he helped me through it.

How do you know if you are giving too much when it comes to dating?
Do you complain that you are giving so much in your dating life and not getting much in return?
As women, we are natural nurturers and givers. When we love someone, we go all in. We give as much as we can in hopes our partner will meet us in the middle.
What happens if they don’t?
We love harder - invest more of our time, energy and love in hopes they will return it to us.
When they don't, we take this as a sign that there is something wrong with us.
We find ourselves miserable. We develop animosity, anger and resentment towards our partner. We look to them for validation and support only to get “I can’t give you what you want” in return.
This is what my guest Tiffany was facing when she reached out to be coached on-air.
Listen as we discuss her patterns of over delivering in her dating life. We talk about how someone showing up to the relationship the same way we are is key to feeling appreciated. Her potential partner needs to earn the right to know all her "quirks" and receiving her love.
