Here we are on the last day of August, on the brink of September with all of the back-to-school vibes swirling around us. Can you feel it too? It’s always such a big moment, a palpable change, regardless of if you’re a student or not. Let’s take some time to reflect on all that unfolded in August as we prepare to move forward into our next chapter, a new season.
Wrapping up August is bittersweet — we say goodbye to summer and the freedoms that come with longer days of light, but we also welcome more consistency and predictability that can feel really nourishing and oh so nostalgic. Whether you are a DSWL Planner user or not, this audio workshop is here to offer a series of end of the month reflections, a guided meditation to help you pause in-between August and September and an opportunity to future-cast your September.
What You Can Expect —
* Reflection questions to help you connect with all that unfolded for you in August
* A short guided meditation to pause between August and September. This meditation gives you a moment to pause and soak up the last of the summer sun, nourishing yourself with silence and the reminder that as you enter a new rhythm you can always take two moments for yourself
* A brain dump & extra support map for the month of September
* September Goals, affirmations, habit tracking and self-love prompts
What You Need For The Audio Workshop —
* 30-45ish minutes
* A quiet cozy place you can curl up without distractions for 30ish minutes
* Your DSWL Planner, journal or blank paper
* Something to write with
* Environment enhancers (ex: cozy lemon tea in your favorite mug, bergamot essential oil in the diffuser, grounding rose quartz stones, background frequency/chill-hop playlist)
I’m so excited y’all enjoyed this new form last month for Dear July! I’m grateful to be able to share this resource with more people through recorded audio. And…per your request, I shared more of my responses in this month’s workshop! So, in return I invite you to share your Dear August reflections in the comment section below. We can collapse time and space and pretend we are in a room reflecting and preparing for the transition together.
With Love,
Jenna

As we near the end of July, let’s take some time to reflect on this busy summer month we’ve lived through. Whether July is always your busiest month of the year or you've been able to rest in the sun while eating strawberries with sugar sprinkled on the top, it’s a big month.
July marks our halfway point through the year and invites us to think about goals, intentions and curiosities we proclaimed at the start of 2024. Given my new work schedule, I am experimenting with this audio workshop version for the end of the month review in place of the community calls. Whether you are a DSWL Planner user or not, this audio is here to offer a series of end of the month reflections, a guided meditation to help you pause in-between both sides of this year and an opportunity to map out your August.
What You Can Expect —
* Reflection questions to help you connect with the energy of July
* A short guided meditation to pause between July and August. This meditation takes place in a labyrinth where the journey to the center is the recent past and the journey out is the near future
* A brain dump & extra support map for the month of August
* August Goals, affirmations, habit tracking and self-love prompts
What You Need For The Audio Workshop —
* A quiet cozy place you can curl up without distractions for 30ish minutes
* Your DSWL Planner, journal or blank paper
* Something to write with
* Environment enhancers (ex: cozy chamomile tea in favorite mug, lavender essential oil in the diffuser, grounding jasper stones, background frequency/chill-hop playlist)
Hopefully this new form can reach more people and become a resource for independent reflection. I’m also sad to take the community aspect of being together on live calls away, so I invite you to share your dear July reflections in the comment section below.
I’ll be back in your inbox with the Dear Self Newsletter next week. Until then I am wishing you an easeful transition from July into August. You’re amazing and I’m so glad you’re taking this time for yourself to pause before you go again.
Going again is always easier once we have rested and reflected.
With Love,
Jenna
Hey friends!
I’m writing to you today from a winter wonderland where the snow has finally arrived in Wisconsin. I wanted to repurpose last weekend’s future-self letter writing workshop into a podcast episode that you can follow along with and cozy up to this weekend.
Winter is such a wonderful time to hibernate into self-care and personal reflection. The colder weather and shorter days are big permission slips to stay inside and create a soul-soothing ambience. I’m excited to share this practice with you, and am imagining you carving out an hour for yourself where you’ll create this special gift for future-you. Your future-self will be so delighted to open this letter out there in January 2025.
Grab some writing materials, brew some tea, light a candle, press play and follow along with this step-by-step audio workshop! I can’t wait to receive your letters at the PO Box and hold them for you this year!
With Love,
Jenna

In this final peek into the portal episode I dive into the deep subconscious world of hypnosis. One of the most magical and fun ways to communicate with and listen to your inner guiding system and strengthen your sense of imagination.
Since hypnosis is a common denominator in all of the offerings inside of the Archival Sale I thought it’d be fun to give you a proper introduction by covering —
* what hypnosis is and how it can impact your life
* what it is not — we’ve all been worried about walking around like a chicken at least once, right?
* how it can be an incredible tool for your self-care practices, a way to help regulate your nervous system too
* some early history spanning from the 1700s-1933, including the fascinating study of eating imaginary fruit!
Whether you’re tuning into this episode to evoke your sense of wonder, collecting some interesting facts for your next dinner party or are in the process of diving into the world of hypnosis for yourself — I’m really excited to share this final clip from the portal with you. Enjoy the episode!
Today is your LAST chance to scoop up some life-changing mindset resources before they head to the vault forever at the end of today!
* Mental Wealth Self-Study Portal [usually $997, today $333]
* Supercharge Your Space-Holding Practice With Subliminals Workshop [usually $175, today $37]
* Spread The Wealth Bundle [usually $55, today $18]

Deciding what to share with you in this mini-series has been a bit harder than I anticipated it would be…There is just SO much in this sea of knowledge. Like 60+ hours to choose from much. But when I was driving to an important meeting (a meeting that has the potential to change the whole trajectory of my life) I did something worth telling you about…
When I got into the car, plugged in the GPS and started rolling out of the parking lot with the windows down I was hit with a feeling of Fall. The air was particularly cool for a Wednesday in May and it made me so nostalgic for my favorite time of year. A lot of the most exciting cycles of my life begin in the Fall, so the fact that this weather was here to visit on a very special day felt significant.
While I was driving I wanted to take that familiar feeling one step further and put on an album that I’ve used in my life to signify new beginnings since 2016. By the time I arrived to my meeting I was flooded with feelings of gratitude, certainty and a grounded-ness that “this is it”.
I felt calm. At peace. The same feeling you get when you crack open a new book.
That album is my “The Chapter Begins” soundtrack and because I’ve been using it in this way for the past seven years of my life it brings up alllllll of the times I’ve used it as a support tool, amplifying the feelings. Intensifying the new beginning vibes.
And then, just yesterday I realized I was creating a new auditory anchor with the song If I Die Young Pt. 2 by Kimberly Perry. Blasting it so loudly and thinking of my friend Natalie who introduced me to the song. I was feeling it SO deeply…that I got chills…on my face? Then, via text we discovered we were in fact listening at the same time. Now, I can turn it on and I’m there…with Natalie.
This my friend, is the magic of anchoring. It collapses time and space and is pure magic. And! It’s by far the easiest Neuro-Linguistic Programming technique that I teach inside of the Mental Wealth Method Self-Study. You can do it with all of your senses. Whether you want to try anchoring in an album, a candle scent, a nostalgic family recipe or your favorite button up shirt — you can connect feelings and vivid states of being to sensory experiences. Here, your brain builds new neural pathways to support the association so that when you tap back into that thing again, all the feelings are there.
This is why we get a rush of dopamine when we pass someone on the street that is wearing the cologne or perfume of a loved one who is no longer Earth-side. This is why that one song that you hear in the grocery store can take you back to your wedding night. This is why that sip of coffee can remind you of when your mom brewed Hill Bros growing up. The list goes on.
In this episode I share a clip about anchoring from the portal and invite you to think about how you can use this (and how you already are) on purpose in your life. Listen now and get inspired for how you can weave these subconscious tricks into your life to amplify states and seasons you want to remember and recall.
The Archival Sale is coming to an end! Doors close at the end of the day on Wednesday May 31st. Grab the MWM Self Study Portal, Subliminal Workshop, Spread The Wealth Bundle and On Purpose album before they head to the vault forever!
I had just moved back into my my mom’s and was trying to distract my post-break up broken heart with a new career path. I was cooking in the kitchen while listening to an audio lesson about the inner-workings of the subconscious mind. My external and internal words were changing quickly as my teacher moved down the list of 20 key rules your subconscious mind responds to.
I had enrolled in a Neuro-Linguistic Programming certification program with plans to travel to Canada for the in-person training. We were given 10+ hours of pre-study audios to listen to before our arrival. It was suggested we listen to it twice, the subconscious mind loves repetition.
The first time I listened the majority of things on this list went right over my head. But there was one that instantly changed the way I approach my life, and language.
#11. The subconscious mind does not process negatives
My teacher described how the subconscious mind builds pictures through the use of language…so when you tell someone “Don’t think of a blue tree” of course you’re going to think of a blue tree.
Or if you tell a child, “Don’t spill your milk” you are actually placing an image of spilt milk directly into their mind when you’re really trying to communicate the opposite. For my students who are parents, #11 alone has completely changed the way they communicate with their kids.
As soon as you learn this, you start noticing where this happens in your own language and the language of other’s around you. It’s almost like you can’t not hear it. It’s fascinating. And the best part? It’s really such a simple yet life-changing tweak to make.
In this episode I share the list that changed my life with you, the same list you’ll find and dive deeper into inside of The Mental Wealth Method Self Study. This signature program is currently on sale for $333 (or 3 monthly payments of $111) until the end of this month for the Archival Sale. This is your last chance to enroll before it gets locked up in the vault forever!
Let me know your aha moments in the comments as you listen! Which subconscious rule inspired you the most? And how can you see yourself applying it to your own life?
With Love,
Jenna

Okay okay….so clearly I didn’t spend every waking moment on this huge archival project for the past four weeks. I took much needed breaks — taking evening “scent walks” to enjoy lilac season, grabbing sushi with my mom, quilting one square a day, playing Sims with Taj and of course indulging in Queen Charolette: A Bridgerton Story along with the rest of the world.
This season was by far my favorite. Queen Charolette and King George’s love story rocked me to my core and came right on time. I have been thinking a lot about relationships and family since I turned thirty last July and going through this archival project has reminded me just how many hours I have spent inside of creating a business, just how many hours I have missed with loved ones.
I feel like that sounds more heartbreaking than I want it to. But it is necessary to talk about and a topic I don’t see discussed enough online. Can we be real about the sacrifice of building a business? The vulnerability of becoming an entrepreneur? It’s hard work and can be extremely isolating. If you’ve ever felt this way - please know you’re far from alone and I love you a lot and see you, boy do I see you.
I’m not sure if it’s my cellular level maternal instincts kicking in…or societal conditioning…but over the past year I’ve noticed some of my values shifting in the direction of family, relationships and prioritizing my health.
This archival project is a significant milestone because it symbolizes the closing of a chapter. I’m not entirely positive what the next chapter looks like just yet — I just knew deep down I needed to bring my NLP Training chapter to an official close so there can be space for what lies ahead.
I feel like I’ve been having the worlds slowest breakup with this identity. Closing a book in slow motion. A lesson in itself. Sometimes you’re just not ready to let go, until you’re ready to let go - ya know?
It all reminds me of some Law Of Attraction tips and tricks out there — when you’re manifesting a partner, clear a drawer for them so they’ll be able to keep some personal items for overnights. Or start sleeping on one side of the bed, rather than in the middle (I did both of these and then Taj appeared hehe).
If you create the space, the Law Of Vacuum will help you fill it. It’s nature.
In celebration of the Archival Sale I’m sharing preview’s into the Mental Wealth Method portal with a special mini-series on the podcast. This first episode is a clip from the first Pre-Study Audio Learning inside of the Mental Wealth Method where I break down the definition of Neuro-Lingusitc Programming and lay the foundation for how incredible your brain is.
Celebrate this moment with me by tuning into the pod, sharing the sale or leaving a comment below chatting about love stories or whatever sacrifices you’ve been coming to terms with lately. And please know how freaking amazing you are, no matter where you’re at in your life right now. Slow or fast. Career driven or family focused. In love or heartbroken. Happy or sad. Hot or cold.
With Love,
J
Thank goodness the lilacs are in bloom again. The row of lilacs behind our apartment building have reached peak bloom just in time this year — right when I needed a much needed reminder that everything is temporary.
For the past four weeks I’ve been sitting with the uncomfortable task of archiving the entirety of The Mental Wealth Method Portal by moving everything from one platform to another. A task that’s been on my to-do list for almost 2 years.
I decided to dedicate Mercury Retrograde season to this massive editing/revising process to clear out energetic space for my next chapter. At this point, I’ve moved close to 200 Zoom recordings of me teaching and demoing the content.
I’ve been sitting with these past versions of myself quite literally. Seeing her welcome everyone to each class, hearing the excitement in her voice and feeling all the jitters she had before every single call as if it was happening again.
I open the waiting room! Welcome everyone in! I switch on “Trainer Mode” with the click of the record button. The stage is set and it’s time to play teacher.
This process has been both nostalgic, and painful. Nostalgic because it was a revolutionary period of time for me and my students. A time for meeting soul-family. A time for togetherness and community in the midst of social distancing. A time for expanding into new identities as space-holders.
It has also been painful because I can see how hard I tried — how deeply I wanted — to make it work despite the deep knowing it was out of integrity for me to continue after my NLP Trainers Training experience.
As I write this on Wednesday night, I’m only a couple of hours away from being done with the archiving process. There is so much pride in the program I created. So much gratitude for all of the people who I was able to teach and for the divine timing of how we all came together for this flash in time. And a majorrrrr sense of anticipatory relief for the mental real estate I’m about to reclaim after it’s made itself a home in the back of my mind for two years.
In this episode I dive deeper into the concept of sitting with and sitting in uncomfortable seasons and how the discomfort can be an opportunity to witness ourselves in a brand new way. I share prompts for reflection and ideas for how you can check-in with yourself through the sticky waiting period.
To commemorate this chapter closing I’ll be doing a special mini-series on the pod with clips from the archives to give you a glimpse into the portal. Be sure to circle back if you’ve ever been curious to explore your belief systems, deepen your communication skills or get intimate with your senses and subconscious mind. I’m excited to pull back the curtain and share this moment in time with you.
Save The Date: Archival Sale Kicks Off May 21st!
This process has inspired me to open up the portal one last time before it all heads to the archives forever. On Sunday May 21st I’ll be opening the doors to the Archival Sale where the following offerings will be deeply discounted until the end of the month —
* Mental Wealth Method Self-Study Portal
* Supercharge Your Space-Holding Practice With Subliminals Workshop
* Spread The Wealth Bundle
* On Purpose Hypnosis Album
Last weekend I traveled up north to Door County (that’s the left handed thumb in the mitten that is Wisconsin) to visit my best friend Natalie. There’s a new chapter in her near future that is approaching fast now, so we carved out some time to be present together before the wave of change comes. I started crying when I crossed the county line — listening to old Taylor Swift songs and anticipating the bittersweetness of the moment before I was even next to her.
We’ve been friends since the 3rd grade. She transferred to New Glarus Elementary at the start of the school year and I can vividly remember the moment we locked into “oh this is gonna be good” friendship territory. We were on the playground at recess sharing facts about our life when she told me her best friend’s birthday was July 7th.
I exclaimed, “That’s my birthday too!” And just like that, instant friendship.
Loving Natalie, and being loved by Natalie is one of the greatest gifts of my life. To be a part of this lifelong friendship where we have witnessed each other grow up, fall apart and rebuild ourselves again is a type of love I wish everyone could experience. I’m humbled that I get to in this lifetime.
We didn’t make too many plans for how we’d spend our time, we just naturally started to do all the things we did as children. We regressed to our eleven year old selves and started choreographing dances like we used to for the Spring Talent Show. We had an impromptu photoshoot and reminisced about how she was my first artistic muse when I was discovering photography. We made puppy chow and went to Al Johnson’s for the nostalgia. We played Mario Kart and stacked rocks at Pebble Beach. Natalie even read me to sleep one night after I expressed how much I’ve always loved her reading voice.
We spent the weekend with our childhood selves. We refilled our cups full of the innocence and joy. We made a weekend to remember.
In this very special episode I dive into all of this deeper and invite you to think of what spending a weekend with your inner child might look like. I hope you’ll give this gift to yourself too.
With Love,
J
Isn’t it difficult to wrap your mind around the fact that it’s been three years since the initial lockdown?
Three years of rearranging the entire landscape of our lives.
Lately I’ve been noticing a theme with family, friends, clients and myself who have become a little more critical of how “behind” they are from where they thought they would be by this time or by this age.
It’s easy to feel like different timelines snuck up on you or — wow here is another birthday! But it’s hard to remember that we may feel behind or out of sync because of the extreme global-scale shifts we have navigated in recent years.
It seems as though there is just this energy, this expectation to carry on. To resume. To act as if we’re okay. To almost pretend like it is not there, and never was. But when we do that, we minimize the effects of all this change.
Changes that no one gave us a manual for living through…or recovering from.
Your landscape has completely shifted over the past three years. Things you were doing (or just starting) back then might have been put on the back burner of your life. More responsibilities might have been dished onto your plate. Or some might have been taken away, and you didn’t know how to fill the new abundance of time.
In this episode I reflect on what I put on hold and what I’ve since been recommitting to at this three year anniversary. I invite you to do the same by looking inward and investigating what would help you return even more to yourself now. With grace. With understanding. With compassion.
Let me know what comes up for you as you listen to this episode. If you need some extra external accountability around what it is you’re recommitting to, drop a comment so we can cheer each other on.
Next week I’ll be releasing the second Monthly Meditation for paid subscribers only ($5/month or $50/year). This meditation will be a hypnotic timeline journey that allows you to connect with your past, present and future selves to foster a deeper sense of self-compassion for how things have unfolded, and who you are currently in your season of becoming.
Last call to join the spring season of Full Cup Club!
Need some help carving out the actual space and time in your calendar to recommit to yourself and your practices? Join and experience eight weeks of deeply held community space where you can pour into yourself and the things that you’re ready to recommit to now. Explore the program and the calendar here.
Deadline to enroll is tonight at 11:59pm EST! First call is tomorrow night at 7pm EST!
