In this episode, I talk about the five things that I learned after I stopped drinking alcohol and while on my healing journey. These are not the pretty truths, but the things that no one really tells you.
This is not a comprehensive list, but the five major things I saw on my journey.
Healing is not linear. You will go through some shit during your healing and that is okay. Sometimes you just want to know what may happen before you do it.
In this episode, I talk about the idea of perfection and how this really effected my mindset and the things that I did in my life. All of the episodes that I have posted have either been minimally edited or not edited at all. I made it a point to not edit this one... my rebellion against perfectionism! The need to be perfect is stressful on a lot of levels and in real life, I have no intention of being perfect. I want to be the best person I can be on a daily basis and that means that I am going to mess up... so I hope you enjoy my imperfect podcast.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of timing and the role that it takes in the healing process. I truly believe that there is not one set amount of time to heal. It is different for everyone. I have started to realize that time is a construct that creates disappointment. Especially for those who feel that they do not have enough amount of time to do something. It took me a while to realize that time is my friend and that no matter how much of it I have on this planet, I will make the impact that I need to make.
In this episode, we dive a little into how I ended up doing chakra work and a bit about my marriage.
Prints will be available for sell on her website.
I am so glad that you decided to join me on this journey. Since this is a new podcast, I wanted to start off by telling you:
I am so excited that you are here and I hope that this podcast gives you the motivation to change a habit or two, that will help you to change your life.
