In this episode, Amber J opens up a real conversation about the part of healing that does not always look peaceful, pretty, or easy. Sometimes healing requires us to stop renaming what hurt us, stop calling avoidance peace, and finally tell the truth about what we ignored, tolerated, accepted, or carried for too long.
This is not about shame. It is about accountability, awareness, and freedom. Because you can acknowledge what happened to you without letting it become your whole identity. You can admit where you stayed too long without excusing what someone else did. And you can be honest about what changed you without letting it keep controlling you.
If you have ever said you were “over it” but still felt it, called it peace when it was really distance, or prayed for healing while still avoiding the truth, this episode is for you.
Healing is not always soft. Sometimes it starts with the sentence you have been scared to say out loud.
Let's talk healing.

Ya girl has returned after almost a year away from the podcast. Let’s catch up on where I’ve been, why I stepped away , and what’s next for the podcast. Let’s talk about life life-ing, struggling with consistency, overthinking, the comeback, and realizing that I don’t have to have everything perfectly figured out to start again.
Y’all know the rest, drink your water, mind your business.
Have you felt like love skipped over you? Like every “almost” relationship left you with more questions than closure?
This episode is for the ones who are still healing, still hoping, and wondering if the wait is worth it. It is.
It is not too late. You’re not hard to love. You are not asking for too much.
A reminder that healthy love is still out there and it will find you when you least expect it!
Sometimes you just need to talk it out, no filters, no scripts, just real talk. In this episode, Amber J lets it all out and rants about the things that have been living rent-free in her mind lately.
In this final episode of Grounded, we’re pulling together everything we’ve learned so far to protect and sustain our self-love journey.

You’ll leave this episode with practical tools, a gentle challenge, and a journal prompt to reflect on how far you’ve come.
🌱 Journal Prompt: What does my most self-loving day look like and what’s one small way I can give that to myself this week?
💪🏽 Challenge: Set one new boundary + design your own 10-minute daily or weekly self-love ritual.
✨ Final Affirmation: I honor myself with protection, presence, and love.

Delayed doesn’t mean denied.
And just because it’s not happening fast doesn’t mean it’s not happening at all.
Dear World started in 2018. I was heartbroken, discouraged, and trying to find something good in the middle of my mess.
No big plan. No fancy launch. Just a girl, a mic, and a whole lot of pain she was trying to turn into purpose.
Truth is?
It’s still small.
And some days, that’s frustrating.
Especially when you watch others go viral overnight while you’re building brick by brick.
But Isaiah 60:22 reminds me:
“The smallest one will become a thousand… I, the Lord, will make it happen in its appointed time.”
God’s timing ain’t rushed. But it’s right.
So if you’ve been feeling behind, overlooked, or lowkey forgotten—this episode is for you.

Forgiveness is one of the hardest things we’re called to do. Especially when the apology never comes, when closure feels out of reach, and when everything in us craves revenge more than release. Peace isn’t the absence of conflict. It’s the presence of grace. And sometimes, the first step toward peace is simply choosing to let go. Set yourself free, not because they deserve it, but because you do.
