Today, we’re looking at number seven of ten reasons every Christian should be a creationist: And number seven is Jesus grieved over death.
If God used evolution, then death and suffering were part of God’s creative processes. So why did Jesus spend so much of his earthly ministry healing the sick and even raising the dead? If evolution were God’s plan, then death and sickness are good things. Without them, we wouldn’t be here!
And yet Jesus grieved over the sick and the dead. Why? Because these were intruders into his creation! It’s because of sin that death and sickness are part of creation. And someday, they’ll be gone forever.
