American history is filled with tales of outlaws who roamed the old west, living life as they saw fit. In the 20th century, one man, Claude Dallas, decided to emulate them, living off the land as both a cowboy for hire and a fur trapper. In January 1982, his dreams came to an end when he shot and killed two game wardens before going on the run for fifteen months. Much has been said about Dallas, some of it true, some of it false stories meant to feed into the legend of America's last real outlaw. This week we will be looking to separate fact from fiction as we dive into the life of Claude Dallas, his crimes, and the legend that surrounds him.

It began as a series of apparent random shootings, when it was over, six people would be dead and another seven wounded. From July 29, 1976 until August 10, 1977 someone hunted couples in New York City, opening fire on them without warning or provocation. While one man, David Berkowitz, was arrested and confessed to these crimes, a freelance newspaper reporter continued digging into them, using inconsistencies in both the criminal reports and witness statements to fuel him onward. This week we are covering the aftermath of Berkowitz's arrest, as well as the Satanic Cult theory put forth by Maury Terry

From 1979 until 1981, a killer or killers hunted the streets of Atlanta, Ga, preying on the young African American children who lived and played therein. Although one man, Wayne Williams was eventually convicted of 2 (out of nearly 30) killings, doubts about his guilt still persist to the day. In the final part of the series, I will be looking at the arrest and trial of Wayne Williams, further developments in the case, as well as giving my theory as to what actually happened in Atlanta
