I have a look at my diary for the week and what I am doing. Transcription: “Hi there everybody, DebOnAir here. And today, at the beginning of the week, I want to talk about plans.
If you have a timetable for all your plans this week, we could call it your schedule or schedule. Very good word, good to learn. I keep track of my plans and schedules in my paper diary.
I also have an online diary, but I don't trust myself, so I try to put everything in the paper diary. So what's on my calendar this week? Monday at 9am, I have an appointment at the dentist.
The dentist. Oh boy! Why I thought it would be a good idea to start the week with a dentist's appointment,
I have no idea. Tuesday at 11am, I have WhatsApp mini-meetings for people to practice speaking. Wednesday at 6pm, Ooh!
6pm. It's an exhibition. I am attending an exhibition of the wonderful Artivive people.
It's called Fantasia. Oh, they're very talented. That's going to be great.
Thursday, 5.30pm. It's my turn to get active. I'm hosting the pub quiz at Johnny's, our monthly meeting to practice English.
And last but not least, on Friday night, provided that I still have a little bit of energy, I have an event, a concert. It's the lovely Irene's Bluegrass and Americana Band the Strawcatchers, live at Lobmeyr in the 3rd District. Can't wait!
So that's an excerpt from my calendar this week. What about yours?”
